If you decide to go to the Glenmore for Anzac Day, know that a) you’re probably going to have to wait in line for a little while, and b) it will be worth it. Even if you don’t play, the rooftop is a winner, with Two-Up starting from midday, along with live performances all arvo long.

Is there a better place to indulge in a little two-up than at one of Sydney’s oldest pubs? Anzac Day festivities at The Australian Heritage Hotel start early, with doors open from 9 AM. There’ll be two-up and DJs and live music til late.

Does it get more Aussie than two-up and techno? We think not. The Chippo is famous for its Anzac Day party, which features two-up from midday until sunset and Sydney’s finest selectors across three levels. Tickets cost $45 and you can get them here.

Taking over Collins Street and spilling onto Crown Street, The Clock hosts the biggest two-up ring in Surry Hills this Anzac Day. The pub will serve ice-cold drinks from a street bar and the BBQ will be well and truly fired up to keep the crowd fed. $1 from every pint or schooner of VB will be donated to Legacy—it all kicks off from midday.

The Old Fitz + Anzac Day = a dream combo. Expect a classic sausage sizzle, great drinks, and two-up hosted by the hilarious Freddie McManus from 1:30pm. Doors open from 11am, so get in quick to score you and your mates a seat.

Forrester’s 

Opening early for a day filled with activities, the Forrester’s Anzac Day festivities include two-up, pub beats and delicious eats. Plus, $1 from every FELLR watermelon seltzer and Young Henrys Newtowner will be donated to Legacy, with donation tins and Legacy representatives also around the venue.

From midday, the Kings Cross Hotel will be serving up delicious food specials and Two-Up from midday on the balcony. They’ll also be raising money for Legacy by offering a Karma Keg of Carlton Draught on the day.

We do so love a cold beer from BrewDog and this Anzac Day they’re going big. There’ll be a huge two-up ring with two hosts to keep the action going from midday until 5 PM. A DJ will be spinning hits from 1pm til late, so book a spot, come early, grab a drink and settle in for a day to remember.

Taphouse will be open from 11am for an Anzac Day full of good times and even better vibes. There’ll be two-up, Chinese food specials, and chilled beers served all day long. And if you’re keen to keep partying into the night, Friday Night Karaoke kicks off from 7 PM. See you there.

Opening nice and early from 9am, Woollahra Hotel is kicking things off early. Two-Up will be hosted on the upstairs terrace from 12pm whilst beer specials, burgers, wings and more will be available on the day.

Watson’s Bay Boutique Hotel is the idyllic setting for two-up by the bay, which will start at midday (doors open at 11AM if you’re keen to grab a top spot). Come April 25, the Eastern Suburbs set flocks to The Royal Hotel to play two-up, and this year will be no different. The action will take place in the style of a street party from 9am and will be pumping with an outdoor BBQ and bars, indoor and outdoor two-up, plus classic live Aussie tunes.

ANZAC Day at Paddo Inn is always one to remember. From midday, this lively neighbourhood pub will convert its restaurant into a giant Two-Up ring. The doors open from 10am until late with schooners, tasty food, cocktails and more.

Feast on a delicious post-dawn service breakfast (B&E rolls and ANZAC biccies are on the menu) by the beach, hosted by the Coogee Pavilion from 6am, followed by a traditional Two-Up tournament starting at 12pm and DJs until late.

A Sydney institution, The Sheaf hosts the eastern suburbs’ ultimate two-up arena in the Sheaf’s sunny beer garden. It all begins with bagpipes from 10am before the games begin, with celebrations continuing into the night with a bugle player at sundown and live DJs from 6pm ’til late. There’s also a special Anzac-themed menu for those who work up an appetite spinning.

The historic Light Brigade in Woollahra will open its doors from 10 AM, with two-up kicking off from midday. Catch the AFL and NRL live and loud on big screens while you enjoy food specials throughout the day and enjoy cocktails on the leafy Brigade Rooftop terrace.

For the 13th year in a row, larger-than-life drag queen Tora Hymen will host her frightfully fabulous two-up in the beer garden at The Bank, complete with grandstand seating, at the Bank from midday till sundown.

PHP’s car park will transform into a two-up ring from midday until sundown, complete with grandstand seating, live music, tap bars, live and loud NRL, and food specials.

The Courthouse will host a special game of two-up in their much-loved beer garden. For every Reschs sold on the day, $1 will be donated to Legacy.

Doors will open from 10am at The Erko and they’ll be hosting a very special game of Two-Up from midday. $1 from every Karma Keg of VB (pint or schooner) sold is donated to Legacy. There’s also ice-cold tinies, an Anzac Day menu and DJs from 6pm.

This one is set to be a lot of fun with two-up on from 12pm at The Marly, hosted by Matty Loco, followed by DJs spinning hits until late in the evening. Plus, there’ll be free pool, free darts and cornhole to keep the good times rolling throughout the day.

Raise a glass to our honourable servicemen and servicewomen this Anzac Day at Felons Manly, who’ll be commemorating with good old-fashioned rounds of two-up. There’ll be a sausage sizzle on the jetty from 8am – 10am, live music and a selection of limited release beers on tap.

The Anzac Day two-up tradition starts from midday (and this one is heralded as the biggest and best on the entire Northern Beaches), hosted by resident ringmaster Matty V Vandenbergh. With the stunning Freshwater headland serving as a picturesque backdrop, this is a two-up party you won’t soon forget. You do need an entry ticket to play, so book in here.
