From mezze style brunching to lavish fusion feasts, succulent porchetta rolls from an Italian-style marketplace to the AO's signature peach soft serve, the Australian Open 2024 is set to shine both on and off the court thanks to an array of tantalising courtside drinking and dining options.

The Australian Open 2024 will once again delight both tennis fans and taste buds, with an incredible new line-up of culinary magic set to shine alongside the world's greatest tennis pros. 

You'll be hard pressed to pick between the tantalising offerings served up across the precinct, with many favourite household names returning alongside a variety of newcomers.

From fresh focaccias and tennis ball shaped desserts to decadent Middle Easter and Champagne-hued brunches, Melbourne Park is serving ace after ace when it comes to delicious feasting, courtside. 

The only question left to ask is - who are you going to let serve you first? 

Relax in an Italian-style Marketplace in Garden Square 

Garden Square will come to life, Euro-style, with the appropriately named Lygon Street Italian set to light up your courtside feasting. This chic little marketplace vibe is ready and waiting -  for hungry hordes of tennis fans eager to try as many of the mouthwatering to-go dishes from some of Melbourne's most beloved Italian eateries as they can. 

King & Godfree, D.O.C, Brunetti Classico. It's a trifecta of Lygon Street icons deucing it out courtside for the duration of the Australian Open 2024. Expect a roll-out of signature dishes like pizza al taglio by the slice, prosciutto and mozzarella panini, succulent porchetta rolls, arancini, calamari fritti, as well as the sweetest of Italian sweets. 

One of London's best known Spanish chefs, Abel Lusa, is also popping-up at the precinct, to provide an array of traditional and modern tapas from his famed restaurant, Cambio de Tercio - so it's not just an all out Italian affair. 

Nearby, fans can enjoy sipping champagne at the glamorous Piper-Heidsieck Champagne Bar at the Rod Laver Arena Terrace, as well as from a new Kiosk Bar making its debut in Garden Square. 

Bar Atrium will be a go-to for mezze-style brunching and hero cocktails

The always popular Bar Atrium will hold pride of place once again In one of the most picturesque locations in the Melbourne Park precinct. You'll have a chance to say hello to lovely views of the Yarra River and city, as you indulge in everyone's favourite meal – brunch. This premium, three-course Bar Atrium Brunch will feature an Aperol Spritz on arrival and Lebanese-inspired mezze dishes curated by one of our most talented Melbourne chefs. A curated drinks menu by The Everleigh will see freshly mixed cocktails served all day long and into the evening at Bar Atrium. As the sun sets, the Bar Atrium’s ‘After Eight’ experience is set to kick in - and the space will transform into a go-to destination for the social set. Think an exceptional selection of bar snacks by Sarafian and hero cocktails abundant, including more of those summer essential spritzes, as well as live entertainment by iHeart Sessions.

Penfolds Restaurant promises a contemporary Australian, four-course fine dining menu, perfectly paired with a selection of Penfold's most renowned wines - including a Penfolds Grange moment! 

Australian restaurant royalty, Rockpool Bar & Grill is returning for its seventh year at the AO, with its luxurious signature three-course menu and two hour beverage package of premium paired wines. Then there's beloved Melbourne restaurant, Stokehouse and it's thoughtfully curated three-course menu (including a tennis ball shaped dessert inspired by an Eton Mess), complemented with premium wines - an indulgence that's just moments away from the tennis action.

Fusion Feast

Fusion Feast 

High on our list of must-try dining experiences at the AO 2024 is this incredible Pan-Asian culinary journey; it's bringing the heat to John Cain Arena! Fusion Feast is pulling out the big guns, with an epic lineup of Melbourne chefs on hand to showcase their innovative takes on Filipino, Indian, Japanese, Cantonese, and Malaysian cuisine. That includes Serai’s Ross Magnaye, Daughter in Law’s Jessi Singh, Hareruya Pantry’s Kantaro Okada, Moonhouse's Scott Lord, and MasterChef 2017 champion, Diana Chan.  

This buffet style offering is a unique showcase of Australia's rich multiculturalism. It's available both lunch and dinner time, alongside a two hour beverage package. A Lower Bowl RLA ticket is also included in the deal.

The hugely popular Rod Laver Arena restaurant and bar Superboxes by Shane Delia’s Maha and renowned Melbourne cocktail bar Nick and Nora’s are also back, for those really wanting to make the Slam the grandest of occasions. Pretend you're tennis star royalty in these private boxes, where you won't miss a second of the action as you sip of the most sophisticated cocktail-and-champagne tipples and devour the incredible flavours of Delia's Middle Eastern grazing menu.

More courtside casual appeal

Grand Slam Oval will further celebrate Australia’s rich multiculturalism with a diverse and accessible lineup of food and beverage offerings dotted about the precinct. Jessi Singh's got you covered with an Indian twist on nachos; Salamatea will serve fresh Persian falafel wraps, plates and dips; and fan favourite Fishbowl returns with a fresh and healthy menu featuring items from their new street food concept. 

Melbourne crowd pleaser and Greek institution, Stalactites, will once again bring their loaded souvlakis and fries to hungry tennis fans running between matches.

In an exciting Melbourne first, NSW's and QLD's acclaimed diner, Light Years, will delight with mouth watering bao buns and other modern Asian inspired snacks.

Coffee wise, Morning Market will take care of your hot afternoon slump, and will also be providing gourmet sandwiches and bakery items all tournament long.

Over near the Western Courts, two of Melbourne’s trailblazing young chefs – Frankie Cox and Charlie Carrington – will be dishing out nourishing salad bowls and delicious Cuban sandwiches, respectively.

Another brand-new offering is the AO Courtside Bar – where fans can embrace the thrill of tennis with open-air-front-row seats, while enjoying yummy bar bites by Sydney chef Joel Bennetts, of Bondi's Fish Shop acclaim. There's even the option to pair this delightful experience with one of AO’s signature non-alcoholic cocktails.

Thirsts will further be quenched after a long day in the sun at Grand Slam Oval with the Peroni Bar back again to serve icy cold brews. Canadian Club’s Cabana Bar will bring more of that quintessential summer 'sphere, as will Aperol Spritz, serving cocktails at Terrazza Aperol.
