Recipe: Evan Stroeve's The Tulip Cocktail
Step up your game this happy hour with a delicious drink from World Class Australian Bartender of the Year, Even Stroeve
Even Stroeve is a giant of the Sydney cocktail scene. Not only did he take out the title of World Class Australian Bartender of the Year for 2021, but he is also one of the geniuses behind Re, one of our favourite new bars in all of Sydney.
Stroeve's The Tulip was created in response to a brief that challenged mixologists to create a Ketel One Vodka drink using mindfully-sourced ingredients that impacted people or a cause in the community.
Community-mindedness and locally sourced ingredients have always been at the centre of Stroeve's mission with his bar Re, setting a global standard for sustainable drinking and through his bartender initiative 'Martini Syndicate'. With the Martini Syndicate, Stroeve and other Sydney bartenders seek to offset the carbon footprint of the bartending industry by contributing $1 from every Ketel One cocktail sold to the Aboriginal Carbon Foundation.
Learn how to make this fresh and delicately balanced drink and we guarantee you'll be the envy of every cocktail party for years to come!
