A firm favourite on the overflowing festival calendar, the Rosé and Dumpling Festival is returning to Howard Vineyard this January. As if summer wasn't sweet enough, the Glenelg Ice Cream Festival returns to Jetty Road for an afternoon of gelato scoops and frozen yoghurt creations, accompanied by live music, pop-up bars and family-friendly fun this month. Taking home Silver in the 2024 SA Tourism Awards Festivals and Events category, there is no denying this sugar-filled fest is one to mark in your calendars.

The good times don't stop with ice cream, with a fashion parade, sensory zone and kids activities thrown into the mix. Stick around to absorb the action of Santos Tour Down Under, where the Hahn Men's Stage 4: Glenelg to Victor Harbor takes off the next morning.

For fast-paced thrills, cycling from the pros and iconic moments, find a spot to perch yourself along the 1,198 kilometres of bike trails across South Australia for the annual Santos Tour Down Under. Spanning 10 days, multiple regions and celebrating 25 years in 2025, the festivities around town are set to be almost as enticing as the race itself.

From a free Hot Dub Time Machine concert at Victoria Square (Friday, January 17th), multiple family events, the Adelaide Epic Ride or RADL GRVL with F1 driver Valtteri Bottas for those keen to join the action themselves to a Vardon Avenue Street Party in East End, Tour Down Under brings Adelaide to life.
