Best Food and Wine Festivals in Adelaide: Food

Winter Choc Fest

Winter Choc Fest

The Winter Choc Fest is a sugar-infused sweet treat warming up winter. Hosted at the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company in July, there are activities for the kids to enjoy and chocolate workshops to make rocky road and chocolate kebabs.

Winter dome dining experiences can be enjoyed throughout the day, and depending on whether you book for morning tea, lunch, or the afternoon, you'll be able to enjoy scones, hot chocolate, burgers and fries within a cosy dome.

Are you attending without kids? We suggest trying one of their cellar-door tasting and pairing experiences for a fab day out.

1st July to 31st July

64 Burings Road, Tanunda

Fleurieu Food Festival

Fleurieu Food Festival

Head south for the charming Fleurieu Food Festival this August and celebrate local food and drink, with the festival showcasing and celebrating the amazing local producers and businesses in the region.

Organised by the Fleurieu Peninsula Food Board, the festival invites everyone to host or enjoy food-focused events. Book in for a fine dining feast in vineyards or olive groves, go foraging, tour farms, and attend cooking classes. Don't miss the award-winning Willunga Farmer’s Market for special presentations and meet the farmers behind the fresh produce. Fun and flavours await!

Patritti Wines Cellar II

Patrittis Cellar II

Patritti's hosts live music and rotating food trucks on Fridays and Sundays (and occasional Saturdays) at their Cellar II, filling the weekend with delightful wines, food and entertainment.

The food trucks allow you to pick your street food dinner vibe, and live music from local artists makes for the perfect soundtrack as you sip on Patritti's selection of wines.

Depending on the day you attend, it's the end-of-week reward you deserve, or the end-of-weekend reset you need before starting it all over again. You may even be back for round two the weekend after!

Cellar Door Fest

Cellar Door Fest

Everyone's favourite CBD wine event is on again - this weekend! Cellar Door Fest brings wine tastings usually reserved for cellar doors to the city, with participating wineries setting up temporary shop in the Adelaide Convention Centre.

A smaller version than the summer event, this is a fab way to keep warm away from the winter chill. Taste-test your way through some of South Australia's finest drops, enjoy tasty bites from hot food stalls and listen to live music.

There are three sessions across two days, kicking off with Friday's Wine Down at 5 pm. Your GA ticket includes a Reidel wine glass so you are ready for an evening of tastings.
