Sundown by Arrival Hall

A creative brunch haven tucked within an aesthetic design store, Arrival Hall is a local fave for very good reason. So when we heard they were launching a new Friday sundowner series, bringing share plates, cocktails and DJs into their lush little Northbridge space, we took note. Kicking off this Friday from 5pm, Sundown is all about creating space to unwind with loved ones. No set menu, just chef’s picks – serving what’s fresh and what’s good that week. Washed down with laidback vibes and a delish little sip, this is the ideal way to ease into your weekend. Book here or just wander in.

Joondalup Festival

Joondalup Festival returns to the City of Joondalup from March 7th to 22nd 2026, bringing dazzling art displays, exuberant live performances and plenty of weird and wonderful activities that the whole family can get around.

Amongst the diverse highlights is Crystal People, a large-scale public art display over the lakes at Sir James McCusker Park, Illika, featuring 52 crystalline human figures that shimmer and glow as the sun moves through the sky. There’s also Christine de Grancy’s free photographic exhibition A Day With David (an Australian first), which offers a rare and intimate glimpse into David Bowie’s world at Joondalup Contemporary Art Gallery. While Mamma Mia Immersive takes your typical cinema experience up a notch, with sing-a-longs, dancing, conga lines and drag queens.

The full program is online now, with a range of free and ticketed events for all-ages starting from $18 for adults and $10 for children under 12.

DEADBEAT

Hot Keys

If you thought the city’s basement bars were reserved solely for sticky floors and doof doof music, think again. A new nightlife experience has landed at DEADBEAT, and it feels a lot less like your typical club night and more like a really epic house party. Make your way down to find a baby grand piano under a spinning disco ball, a rotating line-up of the city’s most talented musicians on the keys, and a room full of punters belting out classics (on request) at the top of their lungs. Come alone and link arms with the rest of the crowd, or bring your mates and knock out all your favourite anthems. This is the feel-good energy your nights out have been missing.

Dinner Nights At North 54

By day, North 54 is all about damn good banh mi, specialty sips (like the pandan coconut cloud) and moreish cookies. But soon, they’ll be transforming into a cool little bar every Friday and Saturday night, where you’re encouraged to BYO drinks (Oxford Cellars is right across the road) and settle in for a tight edit of snacks and larger shares. It’ll be an all-new menu, but very much the same vibe you’ve come to expect from Chef Bac Pham. So in other words…delicious.

Long Chim

Slush & Crush At Long Chim

Head down to the Long Chim basement for hard drinks and heavy beats every Friday night. The fun starts at Golden Hour (4-6pm), with $12 boozy slushies, backed up by dirty house DJs and spicy Thai street eats til late.

Tee up a wander, cool off with a swim and settle on the lawn for a sunset picnic. Summer isn’t over yet!
