Strawberry picking in Perth is the most charming spring activity. Just sayin'.

H&N Strawberries

As spring blossoms in Perth, we’re looking for all the ways to get out and about in nature, breathe in the fresh, spring air and soak up the sunshine. Going strawberry picking is quite simply, the most delightful spring activity for a sunny day.

From family-friendly farms to picturesque locations, here are the best spots for strawberry picking in Perth and surrounds, where you can pick your own ruby-red berries and enjoy a wholesome day out.

Just remember to check each farm’s Facebook page for updates, as the open days do vary over the season.

Come and pick-your-own ripe, juicy strawberries every Sunday at this Gnangara farm, between 8am and 3pm. Fill a box for $15 or grab a pre-filled box for $25. The owners suggest getting there early to avoid disappointment, as they sell out quickly in early spring. Cash or EFTPOS is accepted, and you can usually find other fresh, local produce available for purchase, too.

Open for pick-your-own on select days (we recommend checking the Facebook page for updates), this is the perfect way to celebrate spring. Even if Sue & Tim's isn’t open for picking, you can still purchase packs of the most delicious strawberries and jams most weekends.
