Looking for an excuse to get out of the house? Trivia is the perfect solution! Get together a little group of your pals (or a big group, they’re the ones who always seem to win) and head down to your local bar or pub for a fun game of trivia.
It’s one of the most entertaining ways to spend a night out, it’s great for your brain and for your social life, and helps to support your local pub, to boot. There are a variety of different trivia crews who lead their own style of quiz, so we recommend trying a few different trivia nights around town to see what takes your fancy.
Test your knowledge and learn a whole host of random facts and information whilst having some tasty snacks and maybe even a drink or two while you’re at it.
Portside Social
Break up the week with a weekly sesh at Portside Social. The quizzes are great for every age group and shake things up with some fun onscreen videos and interactive live games. Add a brew and you’ve got a perfect weekday ritual going on.

Head down to your favourite carbon-neutral brewery for a two-hour trivia session hosted by Quiz Meisters! Brewdog pours their craft beers from over 20 taps, plates up farm-to-table junk food (with plenty of vegan options) and has other fun games on site like shuffleboard and pinball.

Archive Beer Boutique
For trivia with a West End twist, visit Archive Beer Boutique. Every Tuesday at 7pm you can join your fellow clever quiz fiends in some friendly competition to see who the reigning trivia champion of the evening is.
It’s free to play and walk-ins are welcome, so wander on in and grab a drink to sip while you test your knowledge on a whole host of different categories.
