For a full Greek feast under $70 that will have you rolling out the doors, it has to be Ela Ela. This opening from Peter Conistis has been a hit since the day it opened. Giving low-key Mediterranean luxe, the neutral interiors are a great backdrop for plate after plate of Greek treats.

Start with a wood-grilled pita, baked kalamata olives and whipped feta before diving into entrees, two main courses and an orange-blossom ice cream dessert. A fun selection of Greek bevvies and a smattering of Aussie drops make up the curated beverage list.

Lucky Prawn

If it is the value you want, it is the value you shall have at the Lucky Prawn located within Bob Hawke’s Leisure Centre. Settle in for the best succulent Chinese meal of your life at an absolute bargain price. At $58 per head, you’ll be treated to Bob’s Banquet of appetisers, mains and a refreshing mango pudding for dessert. Highlights include Lucky Prawn’s famous prawn toast, the best crab omelette you’ll ever eat and vegetarian dumplings. It’s perfection on a lazy Susan.

Next time you’re channelling fresh pasta, sourdough, delectable entrees and a sneaky dessert, it’s off to Fabbrica you go. Whilst the $65 set menu shifts regularly, you’re guaranteed to feast on a selection of their finest bites like zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta and drizzled with hot honey and Fabbrica’s iconic cacio e pepe. You’ll be leaving extremely satisfied.

Colombo Social

If you’re meat-free or just keen to get some extra veggies in your diet, head to Colombo Social for their vegan Sri Lankan delights menu. Prepare to feast on papadums and raita, jackfruit ceviche, beetroot bhajis, Colombo corn ribs, roast vege curry, dhal, hoppers, rice and dessert! Best of all, the cost of your meals also goes towards donating a meal to a refugee in Sydney.

Bistro Moncur 

A fine French feast for under $65? Oui, s’il vous plaît! Choose between an entree and main or main and dessert and soak up the ambience of Bistro Moncur. They also have carafes of select wines for an easy $25 a pop. Foodwise, think pan-roasted Daintree Barramundi, steak tartare, French onion souffle gratin, pork cutlet, classic creme brulee and pear souffle.
