The Best Cafes in Bondi to Brunch at this Weekend

Our edit of the best cafes in Bondi for a beachside brew.

Glory Days

You can’t turn a corner in Bondi without stumbling across a trendy coffee spot serving up a solid selection of brunch bites. With so many places to choose from, it can be hard to know where to perch, so, to help, we’ve created the ultimate guide to navigating Bondi’s café scene like a pro.

Much like Bondi itself, the menus here are all about clean and healthy living, so whether you’re looking to fuel up before hitting the coastal walk or for post-yoga nourishment, the best cafes in Bondi have you more than covered.

Common Supply

Bondi’s new lifestyle hub, Common Supply, is being dubbed Sydney’s answer to Erewhon; a destination where health, design and community meet. Set just steps back from the beach, the space is a blend of café, grocer and wellness store, all wrapped into one aesthetically curated experience. Expect an edit of nutrient-rich meals, cold-pressed juices and adaptogenic lattes alongside shelves stocked with premium pantry staples. Sleek, minimalist interiors and a sun-drenched coastal aesthetic make Common Supply as stylish as it is nourishing, the kind of place where you’ll come for a smoothie and stay for the slow-living inspiration.

Pocket

A local favourite with a cult following, Pocket has everyone covered, from the coffee-seeking early risers to the sunset aficionados. Boasting a run club and daily specials, there’s always something going on at Pocket, which functions as a community hub and third space for many. The brunch menu is packed with Aussie classics, whilst dinner sees seasonal small plates take centre stage. A distinctly Mediterranean feel takes over as seating spills out onto the pavement and regulars enjoy sipping on Palomas and barrel-aged Negronis.

Sundays Bondi

If you’ve strolled down Bondi Road recently, you’ve probably clocked the ever-growing queue snaking around the corner — and yes, the hype is entirely justified. Sundays Bondi is the pint-sized bakery causing a major stir, serving up oozy cinnamon scrolls and dreamy matcha creations to a crowd of dedicated locals (some of whom have waited over an hour just to get their fix). The soft, hand-rolled dough is the stuff of sweet dreams, and the vanilla and cinnamon cream cheese icing? Absolute heaven.

Brought to life by 22-year-old Bondi local Laetitia Loefti, this micro-bakery and matcha bar made waves online before it even opened — and now that it has, it’s clear Sundays was well worth the wait. Tucked just near the corner of Bondi Road and Imperial Avenue, it’s already selling daily, proving that this sunny little nook is more than just a viral sensation — it’s a new Bondi staple.

Harry’s

Once a hole-in-the-wall cafe churning out crowd-pleasing coffee, Harry’s has expanded into an ethical kiosk and bar, and their loyal following has stuck around for the journey.

There’s always a queue, but it’s not just for the aesthetically pleasing matcha and cold-drip coffee — the brunch offering is equally as good. If it were up to us, we’d go for Harry’s hotcake — topped with seasonal berries, passionfruit, toasted coconut and vanilla double cream — any day of the week.
