Culture Fix: The Best Art Exhibitions in Sydney in 2026
Craving some culture? These are the best art exhibitions in Sydney.
It should come as no surprise that we love living in Sydney. From stunning natural beauty, killer cafe culture and, slowly but surely, a reemerging nightlife. Beyond the bars and beaches though, there is a thriving arts and cultural scene, and our art galleries and museums are among the best in the world.
Whether you’re looking for a fun rainy-day activity or want to support local emerging artists, these are the best art exhibitions in Sydney to check out in 2026.
Banksy Limitless
This April, Banksy Limitless will make its Australian debut at The Rocks, bringing more than 250 works by the world’s most elusive street artist, direct from a sold-out London season.
This immersive exhibition goes beyond the frame, pairing certified originals and rare pieces with hologram installations and multisensory formats that pull you deep into Banksy’s provocative world. From iconic works like Cinderella at Dismaland to works that ask you to think a little deeper with its razor-sharp social commentary, it promises to be an experience that will stay with you long after leaving.
And, in keeping Banksy’s dedication to humanitarian causes, a portion of proceeds from the exhibition will be donated to the M.V. Louise Michel organisation; an independent high-speed lifeboat which rescues migrants in distress across the Mediterranean.
It’ll be a limited run so ensure to get tickets once it launches and sign up for the waitlist here.
Prices: From $42 for adults and $30 for children

White Rabbit Gallery, The Hooligans
This tough and intellectually stirring group show brings together contemporary Chinese artists whose work responds to ideas of dissent, rule-breaking and social control. It’s a powerful cultural experience that sparks conversation, if that’s what you’re looking for.
