WOMADelaide Drops Full 2026 Lineup — and It’s Stacked
600+ artists are taking over Botanic Park for four days of music, dance, and festival magic.

WOMADelaide has officially dropped its full 2026 lineup, and it’s shaping up to be a global musical feast. Across four days at Botanic Park/Tainmuntilla, more than 600 artists from 38 countries will transform the festival into an unforgettable showcase of music, dance, and culture.
Leading today’s announcement are three exclusive Australian appearances guaranteed to turn heads. Grammy-winning hip-hop trailblazers Arrested Development bring their socially charged, genre-defining energy. Malian powerhouse Oumou Sangaré, one of Africa’s most acclaimed voices and activists, promises performances that are as soulful as they are unforgettable. And Italian pop icon Jovanotti will headline the opening night, kicking off the weekend with his infectious, high-energy sound.
The new batch of artists perfectly captures WOMADelaide’s ethos of discovery. BADBADNOTGOOD from Canada will mesmerise with their jazz-fusion improvisations, while MY BABY, a blues-funk trio from The Netherlands and New Zealand, bring hypnotic grooves. American gospel family band Annie & The Caldwells, praised by Sir Elton John, join Amsterdam psychedelic collective Nusantara Beat, who channel their Indonesian roots into trippy, rhythmic soundscapes. They’re joined by Fantastic Negrito, festival favourites KAIIT and Mama Kin Spender, and rising Brazilian-Australian talent Alcides Neto.
These acts slot into an already stacked roster featuring Yothu Yindi, Afro-funk innovator Obongjayar, 82-year-old gospel singer Kankawa Nagarra, Yolŋu hip-hop star Baker Boy, singer-songwriter Troy Cassar-Daley with a string quartet, London DJ Jyoty, and Moroccan ensemble Asmâa Hamzaoui & Bnat Timbouktou. The festival’s dance program also expands with Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker’s landmark Rosas danst Rosas.
WOMADelaide founder Peter Gabriel highlighted the festival’s enduring power, calling it a rare meeting place for all the world’s cultures and dreams in a divided world.
With the full A–Z lineup now live, the countdown to WOMADelaide 2026 is officially on.
