Get ready for an unforgettable season of laughs, thrills, and late-night magic.

Adelaide’s festival season is back, and it’s bigger, bolder and brimming with energy. From February 13th, The Garden of Unearthly Delights transforms Rundle Park/Kadlitpina into a world of comedy, cabaret, circus, theatre, music, and food, with over 115 shows, including 23 world premieres and 39 South Australian premieres. Across the road, Gluttony celebrates its Sweet 16 from February 19th at Rymill Park/Murlawirrapurka, delivering over 200 shows across 18 performance spaces. Together, these two powerhouse precincts make the East End the ultimate Adelaide Fringe playground.

World Premieres and Exclusive Shows at The Garden & Gluttony 2026

The Garden of Unearthly Delights welcomes three new venues — The Paragon, The Soda Room, and The Criterion, plus international exclusives like The Sumo Show Hirakuza, Bernie Dieter’s Club Kabarett, The LadyBoys of Bangkok, Haus of Yolo, Keep in Touch, and Tape Face: 20. Meanwhile, Gluttony introduces two new venues, The Gosling and Tandanya Theatre, adding contemporary circus, comedy, and First Nations programming to its record-breaking line-up.

Big Name Comedians Performing at The Garden & Gluttony 2026

Comedy remains at the heart of The Garden of Unearthly Delights, with a stacked lineup of Australian favourites and rising stars. Tom Gleeson returns with Out of Touch, alongside Dave Hughes, Tommy Little, Celia Pacquola, Rove McManus, The Umbilical Brothers, Nurse Georgie Carroll, Ivan Aristeguieta, Geraldine Hickey, Merrick Watts, and Stephen K Amos. Premiere shows include The Grats, Australia’s first musical comedy supergroup, and Brian Nankervis’ Wish You Were Mine with the RocKwiz Orkestra, blending music, storytelling, and sharp humour. Gluttony audiences can catch stand-up and comedy-infused performances in dedicated venues open-air venues such as The Squeaker and The Piglet.

Cabaret, Circus and Physical Theatre Highlights at The Garden & Gluttony 2026

Returning hits at The Garden include La Ronde, Naughties, Laser Kiwi – Everybody Knows, Sh!t-faced Hamlet, and Blushing, alongside Bubble Show for Adults Only in its final Adelaide season. Gluttony brings an additional spectacle with Primal, GASHA, and Serviced, blending circus, cabaret, and variety for late-night thrills.

Music and Late-Night Energy at The Garden & Gluttony 2026

The Garden’s music spans Meg Washington, MONSTR, and Michael Paynter, with DJ-led late-night sessions at The Deck and the Wine Bar keeping the energy alive. Gluttony takes music further with 40+ shows including History of House: Greatest Hits, Hugh Sheridan’s California Crooner Club, The Legend of Queen, and one-off performances from NERO, Young Franco, Chicane, Hot Dub Time Machine, Faker, Furnace & the Fundamentals, and Adelaide’s The Beards.

Family-Friendly Shows at The Garden & Gluttony 2026

The Garden offers early sessions packed with fun for kids, including The Luck Child, Splish Splash Science!, The Alphabet of Awesome Science, Camp Culture, Trash Test Dummies, Amazing Drumming Monkeys, Monski Mouse, and DJ Alba: The Pinky Pie Party Part 2.

Food and Long-Table Dinners Available at The Garden & Gluttony 2026

The Garden’s culinary precinct, curated by Duncan Welgemoed, features fire-kissed seafood, handmade dumplings, Middle Eastern spices, and plant-driven dishes. The Garden Feast returns with three long-table dinners featuring George Calombaris, Matt Stone & Enrico Sgarbossa, and Annita Potter. Gluttony adds its own foodie experience with lakeside dining, food markets, bespoke bars and Champagne Island.

Free Entertainment Options at The Garden & Gluttony 2026

Both precincts offer plenty to enjoy without a ticket. The Garden Sessions showcase South Australia’s best emerging First Nations musicians every Saturday, while the RAA Garden Party delivers Sunday afternoon performances. Gluttony features open-air DJs, pop-up performances, and the new Gluttony Sculpture Walk, giving visitors a taste of the festival atmosphere and a chance to explore music, art, and entertainment under the stars.
