The Aussie Brand Nailing Back-To-Work Style
Struggling to get dressed? These workwear pieces make mornings easy.
Is it just me? Or does getting dressed for work this week seem way harder than it did last year? It’s (really) hot, which might be part of the problem. But also, after a couple of weeks of wearing predominantly swimwear or Assembly Label’s Lola Barrel Leg Pants and a singlet, the old office staples aren’t hitting like they used to.
Call it woo woo (or just an excuse to shop), but I firmly believe what you wear can shift the energy you bring each day. And while mentally I feel refreshed and ready to take on the new work year, my wardrobe isn’t quite matching up. So I’ve been on the lookout for some fresh workwear pieces to breathe life into my daily outfit rotation.
After much searching, Aussie label SABA delivered. First founded by Joe Saba in Melbourne in 1965, the label started as a shirt shop before expanding into men’s and women’s workwear, which explains why they do tailoring so well. I’m a big fan of their suits and coordinated sets, which make feeling put-together easy. Their everyday basics are also great quality (the silk shirt is beautiful), and actually pass the daily wear test. And I appreciate that their designs aren’t trying to chase every trend. SABA’s pieces are the answer to sleek, timeless, professional dressing.
