Blume Restaurant
You’ll find Blume in the little country town of Boonah, an agricultural hub for local producers and farmers in the region. Boonah’s High Street is where you’ll find most of the action (country shopping and an arts scene), and amongst it, hidden in plain sight, is a culinary gem worth uncovering.
Jack Stuart (formerly of Gauge and Congress Wine) is the brains behind Blume’s concept and is passionate about creating memorable dining experiences. The menu is a simple “chef’s choice” approach, with dishes that are anything but. Wielding top-quality, fresh local product and plentiful experience in fine fare, Stuart plates up unforgettable food.
The menu is conjured from local produce, some as close as the neighbouring garden. Aunt Jen’s garden supplies Blume’s kitchen with rare herbs and flowers, picked freshly for each service. Depending on the season, these fresh flavours are brought to you by hand-collected nasturtiums, elderflower, marjoram, bay leaves, lemon verbena, mizuna, dill, thyme, rosemary, mint, parsley, sage, apple marigold, lemon balm, lovage, and chervil.
It’s the kind of place worth going out of your way for – and exactly the sort of local gem that makes the Scenic Rim so special.

Each plate is thoughtfully paired with one of Kooroomba’s own wines for a perfect complement, creating a dining experience that’s relaxed yet refined, and undeniably rooted in the region.
