Vineria Luisa
Tucked behind Enmore Road’s iconic purple‑and‑pink 1949 salon‑era facade, Vineria Luisa is primed to be the neighbourhood vineria‑cum‑gintoneria you didn’t know you needed — but won’t be able to resist. The Pavonis (the maestro‑level Italian duo behind Ormeggio, Postino Osteria and co) have lovingly preserved the heritage listing, bringing a fresh twist to the art‑deco curves. Expect a vibe that’s equal parts cosy wine hideaway and spritzy gin playground, perfect for everything from a cheeky pre‑theatre spritz to a post‑pasta nightcap.
Head inside and you’ll find an intimate 70‑seat spread across two levels — downstairs for solo bar dates and upstairs for lively catch‑ups. The spotlight is on thoughtful pours (think boutique European wines and 20–25 thoughtfully curated gins) with a rotating chalkboard to keep things interesting. With artisanal bites and fresh pasta on deck, Vineria Luisa feels like your Italian cousin’s home, except cooler — and right on your Enmore doorstep.
