Neutral Bay Suburb Profile

Weekends and summer evenings can be easily whiled away at Kurraba Point Reserve.

Easy travel to the city. Many locals boast a 20-minute door-to-door commute which allows them to finish work late and still be home in time for dinner. Many commuters choose the Neutral Bay ferry service to start and finish their working day taking in the beauty of Sydney Harbour.

Jumping off the bus at Neutral Bay Junction and having a choice of picking up some groceries from one of the three major supermarkets, or grabbing a quick bite for dinner at one of the Asian restaurants and eateries.

May Gibbs

Neutral Bay was home for the beloved Australian children’s author and illustrator, May Gibbs, who is most renowned for her Snugglepot and Cuddlepie series. She is remembered by a large mural at May Gibbs Place (off Military Road) and at her former house, which is now a house and garden museum called May Gibbs Nutcote.

Kurraba Reserve

Kurraba Reserve is a natural playground along the foreshore – plenty of green space to run around in, park benches to soak up the views and a launching area for small boats and yachts.
