Pebbly Beach is the ideal nook for snorkellers, families, and anyone looking for a sweet spot to swim and relax. The Forster Ocean Baths are a blissful place to do laps in the fresh ocean water. The Tuncurry to Forster Bridge is a hub for water sports, with power boats whizzing around the sandy bay. 

The Burgess Beach Rock Pool, which is known as ‘the fairy pool,’ is a petite turquoise body of water that’s a destination unto itself and a magical place to spend time. 

The foodie scene in Forster has it all, from fresh beachside bites and delicious coffee served up at Beach Bums Cafe to next-level salads and loaded toast at the family-run gem, Plunge, and the best cup of coffee in town at Little Street Roasters—whatever you’re craving, you’ll find it here. Not to mention the world-famous local oysters; head to Beach Street Seafood and you will not be disappointed. 

The Stockland Forster Shopping Centre services the area with a slew of shops, such as Aldi, Coles, Baker’s Delight, Priceline Pharmacy, and Cotton On. 

The Forster Tuncurry Golf Course is another popular venue for locals and tourists who fancy a round of golf. The course is just off One Mile Beach, with holes one to six of the front nine on the beach side of the clubhouse. The ocean breeze and glimpses of the sand are sure to remind you where you are. 

Beachfront apartments offer panoramic views along the coastline, while waterfront homes provide direct access to pristine beaches and waterways. Inland, suburban houses and townhouses cater to families seeking spacious living. Additionally, there are also rural properties and acreages.
