Terms & Conditions: Sitchu Sydney x Broke Fordwich

1. Employees of the promoter (Sitchu) and agencies associated with this promotion (i.e. Broke Fordwich and businesses associated with the competition) are ineligible to enter the competition, as are their immediate families.

2. To enter, entrants must follow @sitchu.sydney & @brokefordwich on Instagram, and tag three friends in the Instagram post on Sitchu Sydney’s Instagram account and comment, in 25 words or less, what you are most excited to experience in Broke Fordwich? The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries.

3.  The judges reserve the right to disqualify any entrant submitting an entry which, in the opinion of the judges, includes objectionable content, including but not limited to profanity, nudity, potentially insulting, scandalous, inflammatory or defamatory images or language. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

4. All entries become and remain the property of the promoter and agencies associated with this promotion.

5. Winners of the competition must be 18 years old and over and residents of Australia.

6. The promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the competition as necessary due to circumstances outside its control.

7. The prize is non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash. Any attempt to resell or auction all or any part of this prize will result in immediate cancellation of the prize. Prize cannot be exchanged for another item. In the event that, for any reason whatsoever, a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.

8. The promoter reserves the right to substitute any component of the prize for an item of equal value at their discretion.

9. Prize cannot be gifted to other persons in lieu of the winner not being able to claim it. 

10. Once the prize has been confirmed by Sitchu, the prize is deemed non-transferrable.

12. Terms and conditions for prizes:

Accommodation valid for a 2 night stay for 4 guests on a Wednesday and Thursday night until 30 April 2023, excludes Christmas – New Year peak and school holidays.Full day chauffeured driver ThursdayMargan Ultimate Experience and lunch available Friday only.Package not redeemable for cash, and must not be split, any elements not taken will be forfeited.Package subject to availability of accommodation.  Must be over 18 to enter.

13. The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, in connection with the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by laws.

14. Promotion commences 5:30pm Thursday 31st March 2022 –  Entries close at 11:59pm Tuesday 5th April 2022.

14. By entering the competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these rules.

16. The information you are asked to provide to Sitchu is personal information and is protected by the Privacy Act 1988. Sitchu will not disclose this information to other parties other than in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.

17. All entries become the property of Sitchu. The promoter may use the entrant’s names and literary pieces for any commercial purpose, including future promotional marketing and publicity purposes. Literary pieces will be published in an anonymised format.

18. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.

19. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not accept the prize at the time stipulated by Sitchu then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.

20. Entries will be judged at Sitchu Head office on Wednesday 6th April 2022 and the winners will be contacted by Sitchu.Sydney Instagram for details. The tickets will then be emailed to the winners by White Ink.

21. The winner will be notified via Instagram direct message within 1 hour of the draw taking place. 

22. If Sitchu is unable to contact the winner within 3 hours of the draw and Sitchu has made every effort to contact them with the information provided by the entrant then Sitchu will award the prize to another valid entrant.
