This deli diner is a must, if a low-key, delicious meal is high on the agenda. Playing to the idea of farm to plate, Bondi’s very own, Lox Stock & Barrel tops their chia, quinoa and coconut bircher with an abundance of figs, red grapes, strawberries, coconut, passionfruit, almond and sesame seeds.

Indigo Double Bay

For a substantial serve of this virtuous dish, Indigo’s bircher – coconut water, grated fresh apple, yoghurt, almond meal, roasted almond, pineapple, pomegranate, lemon barm and seasonal berries – will have you full-as-a-goog, no matter how famished you are. Make a cold drip coffee your beverage of choice to wash it down.

This intimate venue occupies a charming terrace and garden where you can gorge upon dishes that boast ‘a gentle twist of Australian, with an Asian influence.’ For the all-day breakfast, we can vouch for his matcha and coconut cream bircher muesli with nuts, seeds, crushed strawberry compote, yoghurt and fresh blueberries.

HAM – Harry and Mario

If you’re into a mélange of Greek influenced café fare, then it’s time to go HAM. Harry and Mario are the dreamboat of Cronulla’s café scene, with their bircher muesli brimming with fresh and poached fruit and topped with coconut yoghurt if you so desire. For something a little more exotic the Mediterranean Nourish Bowl is superb.

The masters of comfort food, ThreeBlue Ducks have firmly established themselves on the culinary map. Their Brontelocation offers Mango bircher with cocnut, summer fruit and macadamia. TheirRosebery café on the other hand serves up bircher muesli with mixed berrycompote, smoked almonds and fresh apple.

This slick, yet seeminglyeffortless alleyway gem, set one block back from Spit Junction is hugelypopular amongst Mosman’s coffee addicts. Regarding bircher, Penny Royals comescomplete with quinoa, dates, coconut, Greek yoghurt, berries and a sweetdrizzle of homemade pear and passionfruit compote.
