She’s back, baby! Sydney Fringe Festival, our city’s largest independent arts festival, has announced its epic lineup for 2025. With over 450 events spread over 70 venues, this is a love letter to Sydney’s arts community.
There is no shortage of engaging events for local art lovers and festival fans. The whole festival line-up is well worth a read but, to whet your appetite, here are our top picks of the best Sydney Fringe Festival events happening this year.
Elixir Revived
Imagine a Magic Mike x Cirque De Soleil mashup and you’re halfway to the physical theatre phenomenon that is Elixir Revived. Treat yourself to an evening of acrobatics and laughs with this production that tells the story of four mad scientists trialling their own attempts at the elixir of life.

Waywards at the Bank
In My Blood it Runs Film Screening
In this powerful and moving film, you will follow the journey of ten-year-old Dujuan as he explores the inherited trauma, resilience and resistance of his people. At once a child-healer, hunter and speaker of three languages, Dujuan is failing at school and subject to scrutiny by local welfare and police. In My Blood it Runs is his story.
