Stylish Getaways You Can Still Book For the Easter Break

Looking for a last minute getaway? Here are some cool places to stay this Easter long weekend.

Still hoping to escape over the Easter weekend?  Whilst most of you will already have your travel plans locked down, for those who like the spontaneity of a last-minute getaway (that's part of the excitement, right?), we've found some fabulously chic accommodation options that are still available to book over the Easter break. Or indeed leading up to Anzac Day (if you were clever enough to book those days in between to get an entire week off in between). 

From charming country retreats to stunning beachside hotels, here are some gorgeous getaways you can still book for the upcoming long weekend and Easter break. 

Halcyon House, NSW

Located smack bang in the middle of the Gold Coast and Byron Bay, Halcyon House sits in an idyllic location, alongside the famous surf break of Cabarita Beach. With some rooms still available, a stay here will have you feeling California-cool in no time, thanks to the hotel’s designer rooms, outdoor pool with blue and white candy-stripe daybeds, and pastel blue bikes with baskets, free for you to borrow at anytime. Get ready for surf, sunshine, sand between your toes.

The Berry Inn, NSW

Once working stables, the building has been transformed into the gorgeous Berry Inn. Situated in the middle of town, this hotel is the king of convenience. They offer different room set ups such as the traditional suite, two-bedroom apartment, family suites. With its winning location, you never have to compromise on things to do in Berry. There is one room left for the Easter long weekend, so you will need to get in quick to book it!

East Hotel, ACT

With a bunch of cool, contemporary rooms and suites, East Hotel is a good spot to lay your hat. One of Kingston’s top spots to stay, you will truly feel like you are living like a local. If you decide to stay in, you won’t be disappointed. From Italian restaurant Agostini’s and Joe’s Bar, to book and wine bar Muse, you are guaranteed an awesome night in.

As far as wineries go, Victoria is spoilt with an abundance of options. There are beautiful vineyards galore, where you can swill, sip and stay. The Jackalope Hotel is one of our favourites, set in the Willow Creek Vineyard, located within the Mornington Peninsula.The hotel is made up of 46 unique rooms, with both the Terrace Room and Vineyard View Room, still available for the Easter long weekend. 

Aside from its stylish and sleek design, there’s also a restaurant, cocktail lounge and cellar door onsite — and just in case that’s enough to persuade you to hit the ‘book’ button, the 30-metre infinity pool lapping over the vines should do the trick.

The Calile, QLD

Located in the centre of Brisbane's James Street precinct, the newly opened Calile hotel delivers a resort experience within a stylish urban setting. This architecturally designed hotel draws inspiration from Queensland’s enduringly warm climate and tropical surrounds  – visitors are likely to forget that they are in fact in the middle of the city, whilst inside its calm and colourful grounds.
