Sitchu x Samphire Rottnest Competition

Competition Dates

Promotion commences 10:00am AWST Tuesday 18 August 2026. Entries close 11:59pm AWST Tuesday 25 August 2026.

Eligibility

Entries are open to residents of Australia aged 18 years and over.

The following persons are not eligible to enter:

• Employees of the Promoter (Sitchu) and agencies associated with this promotion.
• Employees of Samphire Rottnest.
• Immediate family members of the above.

Persons under 18 are not eligible to enter. If a winner is found to be under 18 at any point (either when entering or winning), they will be automatically disqualified.

How to Enter

To enter, entrants must complete all of the following steps during the competition period:

1. Follow both @sitchu.perth and @samphirerottnest on Instagram.
2. Tag a friend in the comments of the competition post on either @sitchu.perth or @samphirerottnest.

Each tag in the comments counts as a single entry. Multiple comments from the same user is allowed and each comment will count as its own entry. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries.

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram. By participating in this competition, entrants release Instagram of any and all liability in connection with this promotion and agree to Instagram’s terms of use. Any questions or complaints regarding this promotion should be directed to Sitchu and not to Instagram.

Prize

There will be one (1) winner.

The prize is a $1,000 Samphire Rottnest voucher. Total prize value is $1,000 AUD.

The prize is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value at their discretion.

Prize Conditions

Samphire Rottnest $1,000 Voucher: The voucher will be emailed to the winner’s provided email address. Voucher is valid for 12 months from date of issue. The voucher is redeemable at Samphire Rottnest and the following hospitality venues: Lontara, Bayside Bar and Hotel Rottnest. If the total cost of the stay exceeds $1,000, the winner will be responsible for the difference. The prize is non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash.

The prize includes the voucher value only. Travel to and from Rottnest Island, including flights, ferries, and any transport to or within Western Australia, is not included and is the responsibility of the winner.

The promoter (Sitchu & Samphire Rottnest) accepts no responsibility for prizes lost or damaged in transit.

Winner Selection

The winner will be selected by random draw conducted at Sitchu Head Office at 10:00am AEST on Thursday 27 August 2026. The draw will be conducted by a representative of the Promoter. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Winner Notification

The winner will be notified in writing by Instagram direct message within one (1) working day of the draw date. If Sitchu is unable to contact the winner within seven (7) business days of the draw, having made every reasonable effort to do so, the prize will be awarded to another valid entrant. The winner’s name will be published on the @sitchu.perth Instagram account for a minimum of 28 days following the draw date.

Liability

The Promoter (Sitchu) shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained in connection with the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Sitchu and Samphire Rottnest do not hold any responsibility for lost or damaged goods.

The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the competition as necessary due to circumstances outside its control.

All entries become and remain the property of the Promoter (Sitchu) and agencies associated with this promotion.

Privacy

The information provided by entrants is personal information protected by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Sitchu will not disclose this information to other parties except in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 and as outlined in Sitchu’s Privacy Policy, available at: https://www.sitchu.com.au/privacy-policy/

Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.

By entering the competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
