Mirabeau Gin Egg Nog (hot/cold)

Enjoy this Maison Mirabeau Egg Nog cocktail with a Mirabeau twist as an after-Christmas lunch palate cleanser, with both hot and cold options available.

Ingredients

30ml Mirabeau Dry Gin15ml Cognac20ml Sugar Syrup90ml almond milk30ml heavy cream1 Egg

Method

For the Cold Version

Mix all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously to get the air going. Then add some ice and repeat. After this double shake serve over ice in a glass rimmed with sugar and a hint of cinnamon. Grate some nutmeg over the top and garnish with a cinnamon stick.

For the Warm Version

Shake all the ingredients to thoroughly mix them. Then gently warm through, be careful not to get the egg too warm, and serve in a mini tankard. Garnish with grated nutmeg and a cinnamon stick.

Mistletoe Martini

A classic cocktail to start the holiday season with a festive spin.

Ingredients

60ml Mirabeau Dry Gin15ml Chambord Raspberry Liqueur15ml Cointreau Orange LiqueurJuice of a lime

Method

Shake together all the ingredients in an ice filled cocktail shaker and strain into a chilled Martini glass. Garnish with raspberries, rosemary or candy canes.

Method

Pour rum, honey, all-spice dram, pineapple juice, lime juice and prosecco into shaker and shake until combined.Pour into glass and garnish with mint or pineapple leaf.

Ingredients

50ml Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva5ml gingerbread syrup2 dashes aromatic bittersGlass: RocksOrange peel/chocolate gingerbread to garnish

Method

Pour rum, gingerbread syrup and aromatic bitters into glass.Garnish with orange peel or chocolate gingerbread

Santa’s Gin Fizz 

A fruity cocktail blend to serve up at a pre-Christmas gathering with your best gal-pals. 

Ingredients

60ml Australian Distilling Co Rhapsody Ruby Gin30ml Ginger Beer30ml pomegranate-cranberry syrup 15ml fresh lemon juice22ml egg white 

Pomegranate-Cranberry Syrup:

1/4 cup pomegranate seeds1/2 cup sugar1/4 cup cranberry juice* To make the syrup: Cover the pomegranate seeds with sugar, stir, and let sit for 3-4 hours. Then add cranberry juice and stir to dissolve any remaining sugar. Fine-strain before using in a cocktail. 

Method

Add gin, syrup, egg whites and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker and dry shake (no ice) to build foam. Add ice and shake again. Strain into a martini glass. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with fresh pomegranate seeds. 

Ruby Spritz

Simply pour all ingredients into a wine glass filled with ice and garnish with a grapefruit wedge.

50ml Bombay Citron Pressé20ml freshly pressed lemon juice20ml Cointreau10ml sugar syrup1/2 egg whiteLemon thumb to garnish

Method

Take a chilled coupe or martini glass.Shake (hard) all ingredients together and strain into glass. Garnish and serve.

50ml Bombay Citron Pressé20ml freshly pressed lime juice10ml sugar syrup7-8 mint leaves 50ml champagne (chilled)Mint leaf to garnish

Method

Take a chilled coupe or martini glass and pour champagne in.Shake remaining ingredients over ice, strain into glass, garnish and serve. 

Cointreau-Berry Margarita 

Shake things it with this super refreshing, berrylicious cocktail, perfect for poolside hangs with friends and family.

30ml Cointreau30ml Blanco Tequila30ml fresh lime juice4 fresh blackberries

Method

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker.Add ice and shake until well-chilledStrain into a chilled Old-Fashioned glass. Garnish with a blackberry and serve. 

Tia Maria Matcha-tini

60ml Tia Maria Matcha Cream30ml VodkaMatcha powder to garnish the rim glass

Create your perfect green matcha rim on half of a chilled coupe or martini glass. Pour Tia Maria Matcha, vodka and ice into a cocktail shaker and shake ingredients together.Pour in the contents of the shaker using a strainer and sieve into the glass. 

Gingergoat Martini

45ml Jumping Goat Vodka Liqueur30ml Vodka30 ml Gingerbread Syrup or Liqueur20ml Baileys Irish Cream

To garnish:

Method

40ml Jumping Goat Vodka Liqueur20ml of Peppermint Schnapps

To garnish:

Method

In the shaker mix Jumping Goat Vodka Liqueur with the Peppermint SchnappsFill the shaker with ice and shake well and double strain into a chilled coupeLayer cream on top and garnish with chocolate and a candy cane

Licor 43 Sangria 

Because Christmas is a time of giving…and sharing this cocktail jug amongst friends and family will surely do the trick!

Ingredients

250ml fruity red wine250ml lemonade125ml Licor 43 OriginalApple, lemon and orange1 orange slice2 cinnamon sticks

Method

Fill the jug with 1/3 of ice cubes and add the sliced fruit.Pour the red wine and lemonade in. Add the Licor 43, garnish and serve. 

Serves 4-6

The Botanist Lushy Machine 

Stay cool over Christmas with this bright, refreshing cocktail blend. 

Ingredients

45ml The Botanist Gin20ml lemon juice15ml red wine syrup2-3 strawberries1 cups crushed ice

To garnish:

Mint sprig, mixed berries

Method

Add all ingredients and ice to blender, blend until smooth, pour into rocks glass, and enjoy.

* Red wine syrup: simmer 2 cups of red wine with 1 cup of granulated sugar, 1 cinnamon stick, 1 whole clove and 2 cardamom pods for 15-20 minutes, until syrupy. Strain before use and keep remainder refrigerated for up to 1 week.
