SoSo’s Run Club

SoSo’s Run Club

Want to get your social fix and fitness kick in one hit? Join the iconic SoSo’s gang on one of their morning or evening runs through Newstead or Southbank!

SoSo’s Run Club was (accidentally) founded by Sophie & Sofie, two healthy young gals who loved going on social, scenic runs with a group of their pals. One thing led to another… and now they’re taking Brisbane (and social media) by storm!

SoSo’s fosters an inclusive, approachable and welcoming energy for runners (and walkers) of all fitness levels, and it’s a great way to make new friends. Most of the gang will hang around post-run for a coffee or breakfast post-run, which also serves as excellent motivation to get you across the finish line for that morning cup of joe.

What began as a way to get active and support local businesses during the 2020 pandemic, has blossomed into a thriving community of folk who are passionate about supporting each other (and Brissie businesses!).

The Unfit Run Club might have started as a handful of friends taking a jog to their local coffee shop, but nowadays you’ll find a well-oiled machine of over 300 runners, setting off from local Brisbane or Gold Coast hotspots. Plus, its the perfect running club for those who might be feeling intimidated about getting back on the pavement.

Got the Runs

Got the Runs

Clearly the friendly folk behind the Got The Runs (or ‘GTR’) run club don’t take themselves too seriously, which might be just the vibe you’re looking for, if pounding the pavement at 6am doesn’t sound like your idea of a good time.

After a couple sprints with this group, we think you might just change your mind. Founded by a couple of mates who began running to raise awareness for men’s mental health, the group evolved into a more permanent collective of dedicated runners.

GTR love to collaborate with other run clubs and local cafes, so its an ever-evolving club that provides many opportunities to meet an amazing mix of different people.
