TREVALLYN

GET TO KNOW
THE AREA

Well-connected and great for families, Trevallyn is an affordable residential suburb. The historic locale, which is situated just west of Launceston CBD, has a mix of 19th-century homes and modern townhouses. Those lucky enough to live on the hill enjoy beautiful views of the nearby Tamar River.

Perhaps the best part about living in Trevallyn, however, is its proximity to Launceston’s Cataract Gorge. The picturesque reserve is a popular spot for tourists and boasts beautiful views, walking trails, a swimming pool, and a chairlift where you can catch all the action from above.

Lifestyle

Trevallyn is a classic suburban neighbourhood, where residents enjoy big backyards, friendly neighbours, and sweeping views of Launceston’s Tamar River. Locals have beautiful bushland on their doorstep including the Trevallyn Nature Recreation Area, which has more than 35kms of walking tracks and trails. The neighborhood's kids often roam the area on their bikes and swim in the lake during summer.

While a relatively small suburb, Trevallyn has several shops that provide essential amenities to its residents. Independently owned Trevallyn Grocer stocks everything from fresh fruit and vegetables to Tasmanian beer and wine and hampers. Trevallyn Gourmet Bakery is also a hit for its pies, doughnuts and cakes.

When it comes to housing, Trevallyn has a mix of large Victorian homes and newly built townhouses. The steady rental market and growth of Launceston city has made it an increasingly popular suburb for investors.
