There could easily be over half a million tiny light bulbs decking the houses on Forde’s Huddy Street, with multiple houses joining the fun each December. Walk through or take a slow drive through the mesmerising displays of lights, reindeer, bows and nutcrackers and be swept up in the Christmas spirit.

Highlights:

  • 3 Gleggett Street (7pm to 11pm)

Ainslie

Foveaux Street in Ainslie has an incredible Christmas light display featuring inflatable gingerbread men, elves and the big man himself — Santa. It’s best to visit between 9pm and 10:30pm.

Conder

The residents of Eaglemont Retreat join forces to transform their street into a twinkling wonderland, showcasing creativity and community spirit by synchronising their lights to Christmas music. How cool! They’re also raising money for Multiple Sclerosis. Visit between 8pm and 11:30pm to catch it all in full-swing.
