Soak Bathhouse

Soak Bathhouse

Setting the tone for many Brisbane bathhouses to follow (including their own), Soak Bathhouse is one of the best-known day spas on the Gold Coast. This family-owned business began as a way for husband and wife duo Niki & Alexis Dean to create their own as the anthesis of the corporate world.

This communal bathhouse makes wellness protocols and rituals accessible and attainable for those with a busy schedule, and can be enjoyed as a social outing or a solo jaunt.

You’ll find magnesium pools, spas, cold plunges, saunas and steam rooms, and you can book in for a relaxation or deep tissue massage to take your zen status to the next level.

Greenhouse the Bathhouse

This beautiful Gold Coast day spa is located in Tallebudgera Valley, providing a serene escape from the busyness of some of the GC’s most popular hotspots.

Relax in the heated hydrotherapy magnesium spas, the red cedar sauna or the steam room. Once you’ve warmed up, take a dip in the magnesium cold plunge to feel utterly revitalised. Each session includes herbal tea and alkaline water so that you can replenish your hydration levels, and you can take your booking to the next level by adding on a massage, full body scrub or poolside snacks.

268 Tallebudgera Creek Road, Tallebudgera Valley

The Bathhouse At Ground

This little bathhouse feels like a secret garden oasis, and is bound to fill your cup if you’re feeling run down.

Soak in the mineral-enriched spa or the traditional cedar hot tub, or work up a sweat in the wood-fired hot stone sauna. There’s a therapeutic cold bath to reboot your circulation and energy levels, plus it provides the perfect opportunity to challenge your mindset with something new!

If your skin needs a little TLC, book in for a bespoke facial treatment, using all natural skincare and relaxing techniques to leave you feeling renewed.

2 Village Way, Currumbin Valley

O'Reilly's Lost World Spa

Searching for the best day spa on the Gold Coast? Why not opt for an award-winner? O’Reilly’s Lost World Spa is an architecturally designed masterpiece in Mother Nature’s most tranqui setting - the rainforest.

With a sumptuous treatment menu of soul-nourishing massages, facials and hot stone therapies, there are many ways to customise this day spa experience to your liking. Soak in the vinotherapy timber bath and take advantage of the anti-ageing properties of the grapes grown on the neighbouring O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards, or unwind in the ‘pouch room’, which overlooks the wet edge infinity pool.

3582 Lamington National Park Road, O'Reilly

The Banya Mullumbimby

That’s right - it’s the bathhouse you’ve seen all over social! And while this one might be a little drive from the Gold Coast (sorry!), we simply had to include it. It’s worth making the trip, and winding your way through the hinterland sounds like a pretty relaxing day trip, if you ask us.

On sun-baked bricks that once formed the local bank, The Banya is owner Brendan Lawless’ experimental take on a traditional European bathhouse. Blending hospitality with wellness, this unique space offers all of the indulgent delights you’d expect - mineral hot pools, lap pool, wood-fired sauna, a steam room and massage treatments.

But to top it off, The Banya also creates a space to linger. It’s a social escape, so sip a cocktail or health elixir with your friends and loved ones, nibble on a nutritious and locally sourced snack or two, and stretch out on the sundeck for post-treatment relaxation.

35-37 Burringbar Street, Mullumbimby

Now that you’ve decided which day spas on the Gold Coast you’re ready to visit, lock in some accommodation to make your Gold Coast getaway complete. We’ve also got the ultimate guide on where to eat, stay and play during your trip.
