Living in Brighton
The Locals

Living in Brighton offers the perfect balance of vibrancy and relaxation. Centred around Jetty Road, this coastal suburb boasts cafés and restaurants that cater to locals and visitors alike, while the calming expanse of sand and water soothes the soul. Picturesque Brighton Beach is a major drawcard, where families relax under umbrellas and sailing boats, dinghies, and stand-up paddleboards dot the water.

Living in Brighton also means easy access to greenspaces and facilities perfect for fitness enthusiasts and social gatherings. The wide footpath parallel to the beach is ideal for walkers and runners, while playgrounds and barbeque areas are popular with families. Gentle sand dunes and shrubbery create a natural barrier between the beach and the shopping precinct, where culinary eateries champion local produce and baristas keep the coffee flowing.

Brighton combines its laid-back coastal charm with convenience, offering everything from fashion boutiques and bookshops to idyllic spots for watching the sunset. And with Adelaide City just a short drive or train ride away, more extensive shopping and entertainment are always within reach.

Area Features

Seemingly made for families, Brighton is home to top schools, family-sized homes and a relaxed seaside vibe. Established couples and retirees also enjoy Brighton’s beach lifestyle, while easy city access attracts mature professionals. Visitors from all walks of life add a sense of multiculturalism during weekends and holidays.
