Famous for its idyllic white sand beach, great surfing, swimming and snorkelling conditions, but when it comes to land-based activities, the Esplanade – Terrigal's social centre with shops, bars and a lively café culture, holds centre stage. Holidaymakers head here on weekends and in the summer, but it's the locals who are lucky enough to enjoy Terrigal's laid-back lifestyle year round.
