Our favourite Enmore local, Emma’s snack bar is serving up delicious Lebanese classics available for pick-up or delivery in Sydney. In addition to their typically delicious Lebanese fare, during lockdown they serve delicious ‘TV Dinners’ with everything from lamb, chicken and fish to vegetarian and keto boxes with dips, Fattoush salad and hand-cut garlic potatoes and of course Lebanese bread. If you’d rather curate your own feast, with everything from dips to delicious crispy lady fingers, dips galore and mouth-wateringly good fried cauliflower, brussel sprouts and oven roasted eggplant. And, of course, you can pick up kebabs and shawarma because just because ‘vertical consumption’ and dance floors are banned, it doesn’t mean we should miss out on everyone’s favourite late night meat.
59 Liberty Street, Enmore
With two beautiful locations, one perched on Manly Wharf and another in the middle of bustling Enmore Road, Merivale's Queen Chow reigns supreme on the Chinese cuisine front. For lockdown, you can order a generous helping of their signature fusion dishes for pick up from midday to 8pm, to be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home.

Some of the best takeaway in Sydney is actually the cheapest, but what Zueus lacks in price, it makes up for in flavour. When your tummy’s growling, Zeus Street Greek, which has locations all across the city, is the place to be. Be warned, you’ll want to order everything, and there’s zero judgement in that. Leave with a feast of spanakopita, halloumi chips and feta filo fingers drizzled with honey and sesame, or load up on the souvlaki. It comes in chicken, lamb, pork and vegetarian varieties.

Chargrill Charlie's is hands down, one of Sydney's best takeaway joints. Upping the game of the local chicken shop, you can pair your bbq chook with their gourmet salads and decadent sides. Although they’re a takeaway food chain, they have put in further measures to keep everyone at a safe distance, like contactless pick up, cashless payment and handwash stations.
