All around there are fields of fertile farmland growing everything from coffee to macadamias to tropical fruits. Peppered throughout all of this are the beautiful cottages and homesteads that nod to times past. Some have been converted into dreamy guesthouses, while others are a homey countryside retreat.

Byron Bay's coastal lifestyle is a short drive down the road - perfect swells and coastal walks with head-turning vistas, plus a café, dining and nightlife scene to rival that of any city. There is no denying that Newrybar is a place where you really can have the best of both worlds.

ARTISAN HOMEWARES

One of Newrybar’s biggest drawcards is its selection of homewares and fashion; from antiques to on-trend homeware stores like Luther & Co and Drift Lab. But none other are quite like Newrybar Merchants, a collective of local artisans and curators of fine goods. Housed inside a beautifully restored vintage cottage, Newrybar Merchants is home to Tigmi Trading, Imprint House, Small Wonder, Alcana, and Our Little Flower Farm

FOODIE HAVEN

Taste the flavours of the Byron region in a town that loves homegrown produce and foraging for food; from macadamias to tropical fruits to coffee beans. Buy straight from the farm gate, in the local markets or head to Harvest Café and Deli for country-style cooking with ingredients straight from their edible gardens; and let's not forget their wood-fired sourdough which has people travelling from all over to get their fill.
