COLLAROY BEACH
The suburb’s pride and joy, Collaroy Beach is as pretty as it is practical. Thanks to its low swells, it has excellent swimming, surfing and windsurfing conditions. It also boasts an ocean pool, a reserve, an enclosed playground, barbeque facilities and an Accessibility Precinct with rock pools and a wheelchair-accessible playground.
PITTWATER ROAD
Collaroy is a small business haven, and Pittwater Road is the suburb’s shopping and commercial precinct. Stroll down the street, and you’ll pass boutiques, cafés, restaurants, pharmacies, grocery stores, newsagents, hair salons and a cinema. It’s also home to The Collaroy Hotel and The Beach Club, popular spots to eat, drink and people-watch.
LONG REEF GOLF CLUB
One of the most picturesque courses in Sydney, Long Reef Golf Club has sweeping views all the way to the Central Coast in the north and Manly in the south. The beachfront course offers 18 holes, and attracts keen golfers from everywhere. It’s also a great venue for a leisurely lunch.
