All the shops are on and around the Old Pacific Highway and Clyde Street, while the bi-monthly markets at Corrigans Beach Reserve are a hit, especially during the summer months. Then there is Batemans Bay Marina – the launching pad for many adventures – and Birdland Animal Park, where you can get up close and personal with native wildlife.

CLYDE RIVER
Running alongside Batemans Bay, Clyde River is a standout within the region, thanks to its pristine waters and world-class oysters (arguably the country's best). Hire a houseboat, paddle the waters or taste the local delicacy at sea-to-plate oyster farms.
CLYDE RIVER NATIONAL PARK
A natural wonderland where locals swim, kayak, hike and fish. Take the trail to Holmes Lookout for spectacular views, or sleep beneath the stars at one of the campgrounds.
