Marcoola Twilight Markets and Farmers Markets draw a crowd for their fresh local produce, street food and live music. Fish n' chips on the beach is a standard fair, with Laughing Lobster being the pick of the bunch. Yet, the string of cafes and restaurants that sit opposite the beach keeps locals well-fuelled. But when locals are craving that bit more, they need only head into neighbouring Maroochydore to get everything they need.
Small but mighty, Marcoola's handy location makes it a standout. Home to the Sunshine Coast Airport, which has direct flights to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and across the ditch to Auckland, plus quick access to the motorway, makes getting around easy breezy.
