Taylor Swift Does Sydney: Where She Wined, Dined & Good Timed During Her Eras Tour

Safe to say Taylor Swift has sent Sydney into a spin with the Harbour city being the latest stop on her Eras World Tour. With four sold-out shows in Sydney this weekend, the Cruel Summer crooner has been making the most of her downtime between shows by stepping out for dinner in Surry Hills, hitting up Sydney Zoo and grabbing a bite to eat at one of the city's best Japanese spots. 

Let's take a look at her Sydney itinerary - and suggest a few of our own recommendations for where she and boyfriend Travis Kelce (who sources say has just touched own in our Harbour City) should head next!

Crown Sydney

After reportedly staying at Crown Melbourne, it's little surprise Taylor chose Crown in Barangaroo to rest her head in Sydney. She's believed to be staying in the luxury hotel's $38,000-per-night palatial Presidential Villa that is perched high above the iconic harbour city. The suite, a cool 800sqm, is the ideal spot for her to get a little R&R between back-to-back Sydney shows.

Pellegrino 2000

This Surry Hills restaurant is one of the hottest places to be and just got even hotter with Taylor choosing to step out there with support act and gal pal Sabrina Carpenter. Mixing things up with fresh new twists on old-school classics, Pellegrino 2000 is led by Daniel Pepperell and Michael Clift, the acclaimed duo behind Bistrot 916, one of our favourite Potts Point restaurants. From the beautiful interiors to the sumptuous menu, this one is most definitely worth adding to your Surry Hills restaurant hit list. But plan ahead - bookings for this Surry Hills fave are sure to be a hot commodity right now.

Sydney Zoo

Next on Taylor's Sydney agenda was Sydney Zoo, where she was spotted getting up close and personal - and taking snaps on her digital camera - with the Aussie wildlife. With exhibits dedicated to marine life, primates, native fauna, and Asian and African animals, there was plenty to keep the superstar and her Wildest [wildlife] Dreams entertained post-sound check.

Nobu

Taylor conveniently headed downstairs from her presidential suite for a bite at Japanese hotspot Nobu for dinner last night. Located in Crown Sydney, this global culinary hotspot is a favourite of celebrities and locals alike. The restaurant artfully combines Chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa's expertise with the local talents of Chef Harold Hurtada. Japanese tradition blends with locally sourced ingredients, offering imaginative dishes and global classics for a truly Gorgeous meal.

With a big weekend coming up, we’re sure Tay Tay won’t want to travel too far for her next night out. And with Travis touching down after an overnight flight from Honolulu, we’re feeling something a splash romantic and a touch iconic for "Swelce". 

Shell House

Taylor clearly has taste with Nobu and Pellegrino 2000 her restaurants of choice the last two nights, so we wouldn’t be surprised if she popped into the incredibly aesthetic Shell House next. The menu showcases an inventive blend of Mediterranean and French flavours with indulgent dishes ranging from fresh Sydney rock oysters to caviar-topped steak tartare, and it's aesthetic interior makes for the perfect loved-up vibe.

Oncore

Conveniently located within the Crown, the spot Taylor is rumoured to be staying, Oncore is a world-class restaurant from Clare Smyth and offers some of the best views in town. With one of the priciest degustations in Sydney, it would easily be THE spot for a memorable night out with her Lover.

Bennelong 

Celebrated and highly awarded Australian chef, Peter Gilmore, is at the helm of Bennelong, one of Sydney’s most sought-after fine dining experiences. Since launching onto the scene in 2016, Restaurant Hubert has become one of Sydney's go-to venues for an intimate date night. The bistro is a Parisian post-war wonderland, complete with velvet, draped and fringed finishes...we can definitely see Swelce snuggling up in a low-lit corner, no entourage in sight.
