Bri Lee's The Work Book Launch
Beloved Aussie author Bri Lee is gearing up to launch her first fiction novel and word on the street is that it's incredible. Talking art, commerce, intimacy, distance, labour, and privilege, The Work is sure to be a hit. Muse will be hosting an author talk with Bri that will delve into the nitty gritty of fiction writing, the story and the themes of modern love, passion, power and politics.
$80 per person (includes two-course lunch, drinks and a copy of the book)

Handmade Markets
Held quarterly, these markets are the best place to pick up artisan goodies for gifting. Everything at the market is certified Australian made which makes shopping an absolute delight. Each market is curated to include over 250 food, drink and shopping stalls and you'll be able to find all kinds of goodies from ceramics and prints through to natural wine and ready-to-eat treats. The Handmade Market even offers a low sensory hour for shoppers who would like to enjoy shopping with fewer lights, smells and sounds - you'll just need to register ahead of time.

Darkfield
Fancy something a little different? This multi-sensory audio experience is one for the books. The aim? To challenge your senses whilst delving into human psychology and perception. After touring Australia's major cities, Darkfield is finally arriving in Canberra to thrill the inhabitants of the national capital. Purpose-built shipping containers house the experiences entitled 'flight', 'seance', 'coma' and 'eulogy'. Intrigued? Book your tickets here.

Suitcase Rummage
Suitcase Rummage is blast for sellers and buyers alike. A community market with minimal set up and pack down, all sellers have to do is pack a suitcase with pre-loved goodies or handmade bits and bobs that can be sold directly from the footpath. This sustainable enterprise encourages a new way of shopping and we love to see it!

Beloved Sydney Theatre Company production RBG: Of Many, One, is hitting the capital and we recommend snagging tickets asap. Following the life and times of trailblazing lawyer Ruth Bayder Ginsberg, the production has been a sell-out in Sydney. One not to miss for theatre lovers of all kinds.

This May Armidale will be welcoming winter with a phenomenal lineup via their Big Chill Festival. The festival schedule has a little something for everyone in the fam from The Reubens and Jack River to a special appearance by Paw Patrol.
