Um, hello to the V-Day party of our dreams! Not exclusive to couples or singles, this night of food, art and music promises to be a good time with every little detail nailed. Held at inner west relative space Prim Haus 4.0, the night will kick off with a cream and chrome dress code. Guests will have the opportunity to decorate mini layer cakes by Anna Cakes and Things, feast on titbits from Mira, peruse art by Dina Broadhurst and sip H2 Coco cocktails. There will also be tunes by Alex Dimitriades and giveaways to boot. Get on it!

We're of the opinion that it's best to lean into Valentine's Day. If you're in agreeance, you might want to look into booking tickets to this candlelit concert. The Phoenix Collective String Quarter will be playing classic long songs to serenade you and your lover. We're talking 'I will always love you' from The Bodyguard, 'City of Stars' from La La Land and 'A Thousand Years' from the Twilight Saga. Like we said - lean in.

Go On a Good Old-Fashioned Movie Date

It's a classic for a reason. Luckily for all the movie lovers out there, there's plenty on at the cinema this V-Day. Choose from Bob Marley: One Love for biography buffs, Marvel's Madame Web for action fiends or Force of Nature: The Dry 2 if you fancy a bit of Australiana. For something on the lighter side, Argylle, an action-packed spy comedy will be dropping just in time. If you fancy upping the ante, book a HOYTS LUX ticket and enjoy dinner, drinks and the beloved HOYTS recliner. 

Score Your Valentine a Heart-Shaped Macaron 

Frenchie's Bakery & Pâtisserie are well aware that many people's love language is sweet treats (we know ours is). They've crafted the macaron to rule them all this V-Day which is filled with fresh raspberries, passionfruit curd and raspberry coulis. A range of other heart-shaped biscuits are available in-store and online if you fancy treating your lover to the whole range.

Enjoy a Sweet Treat from Black Star Pastry

Just in time for the most romantic day of the year, Black Star Pastry is sharing the love with a collection of Valentine's Day-themed sweet treats. Our pick? The 'Sweet Heart' Chocolate Cake. Hand-sculpted in the perfect V-Day red, with layers of cherry and coconut financier mousse, coconut ganache, cherry compote, toasted coconut streusel and dark chocolate mousse, it's all topped off with a crystallised rose petal. Simply irresistible.

Vinabar

For something a little simpler this V-Day, why not swing by this micro-bar for a limited-edition loved-up cocktail? Available only between Wednesday 7th Feb and Wednesday 21st Feb, Vinabar's V-day cocktail special is a twist on the classic white lady -we're talking rose water syrup AND ground dehydrated rose petals for maximum romance points.

Kyiv Social 

We love a menu that offers something a little special and Kyiv Social have got just that - they will donate four meals to those in Australian and Ukraine in need with every seat booked. As if that isn't enough to draw you in, the six-course menu is looking mighty fine. A glass of Spring Vale Salute sparkling wine will kick things off followed by pull apart buns, cabbage rolls, kingfish crudo, steamed dumplings, chicken Kyiv and dessert. SO much to love.

Bar Lucia 

There is something about this Potts Point gem that is inherently romantic. Maybe it's the mood lighting, maybe the opulent oil paintings. This V-Day, Bar Lucia's sexy Spanish-inspired interiors are setting the scene to the dreamiest set menu. You'll be greeted with a glass of champagne and a plate of Sydney rock oysters served with Vermouth granita before moving through to canapes and the pièce de résistance - lobster paella. Finish it off with a crema Catalana. As for drinks, they've got charming wines by the bucket load.

Longshore 

If you haven't yet had the chance to pop by Longshore, V-day is the perfect excuse. Having scored a hat within its first year of operation, this speciality seafood restaurant is more than a touch impressive. Longshore's Valentine's Day set menu will kick off with a swathe of bite-sized snacks before moving into an entree, main course and dessert.

We've long been fans of love song dedication and clearly so is Rekodo. Treat your lover to a set menu of Japanese-inspired delights plus cocktail on arrival before selecting and dedicating a song via their live DJ! You won't be forgetting this V-Day anytime soon.

Chin Chin 

Serving options, our favourite, Chin Chin have three set menu options for all you lovers to choose from this V-Day. Select either the $110, $130 or $150 per person set menu, each of which will be filled with Chin Chin favourites like kingfish sashimi, grilled chicken panang curry and crispy duck and chilli jam pancakes. Yummo!

Ripples Chowder Bay 

Settings don't get more romantic than this. Ripples Chowder Bay boasts views that'll sweep your date off their feet. Sunset on the deck will set the mood whilst the three-course set menu with bread and snacks keeps things easy. We recommended upping the romance with two glasses of Moet and freshly shucked oysters.

Bobby's

Locations don't get more romantic than this. With a prime position just steps from the beach, Bobby's is begging to be filled with sweet loved-up diners. The V-Day offering at this Mediterranean-inspired eatery is all about choice. You'll be welcomed with a signature cocktail before chowing down on a swathe of shared entrees, followed by the main of your choice and a delicious pavlova. Perfecto.

What better way to say 'I love you' than by booking a romantic dinner for two at one of Sydney's most dazzling restaurants? This year, Cafe Sydney is going all out in the name of love and hosting a stylish, memorable and truly delicious summer-inspired five-course dinner menu plus your choice of curated cocktail on arrival.

Love a bit of choice when it comes to your 3-course dinner? I Maccheroni are offering 3 courses this V day for $79. The best bit? You've got the whole menu to choose from. The burrata topped with figs, prosciutto and walnut, the cacio e pepe and limoncello cheesecake are highly recommended. If you're feeling fancy add custom wine pairings for an extra $50 per person.

If great food is as important as great service and great atmosphere, then Lana has the ultimate date night all sorted for you and your plus one! Head Chef Alex Wong has curated a collection of 12 dishes including WA scampi ssam, 2GR Wagyu flank and houchija and vanilla creme caramel. There are also two optional extras to take the night to the next level, plus a punchy collection of cocktails and wine.

If romance for you is synonymous with a city skyline, Dean & Nancy on 22 delivers. The Valentine's Day "Your Way" is perfect for a relaxed evening devoid of fuss.
