Salumerie

Italian deli and sandwich masters Salumerie has arrived in the Northern Beaches! Expect house-made focaccia loaded with fresh deli goodness ranging from prosciutto di parma to porchetta, grilled eggplant and vodka polpette. There will even be an aperitivo hour from 5pm, Thursdays to Sundays, should you like to get your Italian fix of an evening.

Lune

Lune

After almost five years of foiled plans, Lune has finally arrived in Sydney. For those not in the know, Lune produces the most technically perfect croissants in town. Founder Kate Reid, a former Formula 1 aerodynamicist has perfected the art, and the results must be sampled to be believed.

The Roseberry outpost delivers the sleek minimalist interiors Lune is known for alongside a daily array of up to 15 different pastries. Queue might be long, but remember, they're worth the wait!

As for the CBD destination, a tighter curation of pastries is on offer, perfect for your morning commute.

Tessuto

Breaky in the CBD just got a major glow-up with the arrival of Italian trattoria Tessuto. From the talented group behind Secolo comes this glorious pit stop where carbonara scrambled eggs, tiramisu iced lattes and focaccias lie in wait. Retro and playful, the team are serving all kinds of fun spins on trending ingredients including the picciriddu — a single espresso topped with pistachio cream and a pistachio crumb rim. Fancy a drop with your lunch? An Italian-focussed wine list and a range of spritzes are on offer.

32-34 York Street, Sydney

Pippis

Channelling all their hospitality expertise into a waterfront venue, Pippis is the brand-new bayside opening from the good people behind The Grounds of Alexandria. Bringing a splash of Euro summer to The Shire, this new eatery is open from breakfast through to dinner. Soak up a cocktail on the deck whilst enjoying dappled sunlight through the orange and white umbrellas or cosy up at the custom-made bar for a pre-dinner cocktail. Breaky classics are covered, as well as antipasti, pizza, pasta and seafood come lunch and dinner. Having opened just in time for summer by the sea, we recommend booking a table in advance.
