Just two hours north of Brisbane,  tucked against family-friendly Laguna Bay, Noosa Heads is a natural wonderland in its own right., A long-standing holiday destination, tourists have been visiting this quaint coastal town since the early 1900s, not least for its laid-back surf culture, but for its tropical ambience and infamous beachside dining. 

Outdoor activities here are rife; the sub-tropical climate makes it a breeze for nature-loving locals and holidaymakers alike, who come in search of local wildlife and scenic adventure. There are infinite coastlines to be explored and trails to be tramped, whether by foot, by kayak or boat, but Noosa National Park is a must. Head here for lush wildlife walks, secluded swimming spots, and if you’re lucky, you might even spot a few whales and wild dolphins along the way.
