On land, locals favour the four-kilometre walking track through the Maroochy River Conservation Park and the 18-hole Twin Waters Golf Club. And when in need of refreshments, the small selection of shops along Mudjimba Esplanade has cafes and restaurants. At the same time, the Power Memorial Park across the road is perfect for leisurely picnics.
Where Mudjimba may be lacking in shops and dining, neighbouring Maroochydore more than makes up for it, or if you're after a real treat, Novotel Sunshine Beach Resort is just down the road in Twin Waters. And when it comes to ease of access, Mudjimba's winning location is just off the motorway and down the road from the Sunshine Coast Airport, which has direct flights to Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide and across the ditch to Auckland.
