While not known for its nightlife or restaurants, Boondall has a small but mighty food scene that reflects its multicultural population. Italian, Thai, Indian and classic Australian pub grub are amongst the suburb's culinary offerings.
Many of Boondall's local children attend stately Catholic school, St Joseph's College. The primary, secondary and boarding school boasts excellent facilities, including 12 tennis courts, multiple sports fields, science labs, and a 400-seater auditorium. Boondall State School is the suburb's other popular primary school.
Direct trains from Boondall station take residents right into Brisbane city in just 30 minutes, while regular buses also run to other parts of the city. Those commuting to the CBD for work can drive there in just under 20 minutes before peak hour.

BOONDALL WETLANDS
Take a stroll along Boondall’s sprawling wetlands to get up close with the region’s diverse wildlife. Almost 200 different species of birds call the wetlands home, from kingfishers to ducks and herons. Come spring, migratory shorebirds fly to Moreton Bay and roost in the mangroves.
ENTERTAINMENT
Brisbanites flock to Boondall to see international musicians, comedians and sports teams play at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. The multi-purpose arena, which seats over 13,000 people, is one of the suburb’s most popular attractions. Also located at Brisbane Entertainment Centre is the Boondall Sports Complex, a well-equipped facility that hosts hockey, basketball, badminton, soccer games and more.
PARKS & GREEN SPACES
Catering to the many families who live there, Boondall has an array of parks, sports grounds and playgrounds. Mulbeam Park is great for young children, with its two playgrounds, swing set and climbing wall. Boondall Dog Park is a little slice of paradise for the region’s many dog owners, while Donna Philip Reserve is a hit with local runners.
