Our pick of fun things to do in Berry with your girl gang...

Start your day with a coffee hit.

Head to Milkwood Bakery and while you’re there you really need to order the sourdough (they’re renowned for it), or at the very least pick up a little treat for later from their selection of cakes and pastries. Or you can just head straight to Berry Donut Van (why delay the inevitable) for coffee and donuts, a winning combo that has long ranked as one of the best things to do in Berry.

Stock up on fresh local produce.

At Berry Produce Markets, local growers, producers and providores are at these popular markets every second Saturday and fourth Sunday of the month. Otherwise, drop into South Coast Providores, they sell gourmet food produced by locals as well as home-cooked meals.

Fit in a retail therapy hit.

No trip to Berry is complete without a stroll along the main shopping strip, because after all, it is one of the best things to do in Berry. Around Berry village, it’s brimming with boutiques and homeware stores that ooze country charm. Moss Nest is an eclectic treasure trove while  Few and Far is a beautiful curation of homewares from around the world.

Cool off.

Make sure you take a dip in the ocean along Berry’s very own stretch of coastline, Seven Mile Beach. Surrounded by the national park you and the girls will feel like this is your own private beach.

Soak up the vistas.

A must when it comes to things to do in Berry is the view at Drawing Room Rocks Bushwalk and Lookout. It’s a 4.5km return walk so don your walking shoes and be ready for some incredible views.

Grab a casual lunch.

Milkwood Berry is equally as delicious as it is picturesque. This local charmer is a must-stop for out of towners and locals alike, who come for their renowned organic sourdough bread and a mouthwatering array of cakes and pastries.

Relax with a tea.

The Berry Tea Shop is a charming little tea shop-slash-tearoom and is the go to for a good old-fashioned morning or afternoon tea. Scones and jam anyone?

Indulge in a spa treatment.

Who says it has to all be about the food, shops and views? When it comes to things to do in Berry, why not switch things up with a spa treatment. There are a few choices here, depending on how many of you there are and what you’re after. Check in with Berry Beauty or Goodness Gracious Beauty

Treat yourself.

At Il Locale Gelato, they scoop up locally produced gelato, so does The Dairy Bar in The Treat Factory, but they also do really yummy sundaes and milkshakes. And we really should give Berry Donut Van another shout out, because they are famous after all.

Wine tasting.

At Silos Estate Cellar Door, taste the flavours of the Shoalhaven region in their fully restored 1870s building. Coolangatta Estate is a little further out of Berry, but it’s well worth the trip for their award-winning wines and beautiful grounds. The boutique winery, Two Figs Winery produce wines that are equally as impressive as the views that look out over the Shoalhaven River.
