Rachelle Rowlings favourite hangouts in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs

The beautifully chic Instagram blogger, Rachelle Rowlings recently took us around her local in ‘Rachelle Rowlings. A Stylish Mum’s Guide to the Eastern Suburbs’ pointing out the places she loves to eat, drink and shop with baby in tow, but what we didn’t tell you was all the places she loves to hang with her friends. From glamorous locations for her perfectly executed Insta shoots to her go-to spots for brunch or a night out with the girls, there is one thing for sure, Rachelle has a definite soft spot for Paddington.

Q&A with Rachel

Where are the best spots for Insta shoots around Sydney?

Paddington will always have my heart - old streets that are so very English. Cottages with original walls, pastel coloured houses and gorgeous sandstone. Without a doubt, you'll always find a stunning house, wall or decorative sign in the backstreets!

Where are your top 5 spots to brunch with friends and why?
  • Jackies Café in Paddington is always a favourite because it’s 10 metres from my house.

  • Indigo in Double Bay has such a wide variety menu.

  • Earth to Table in Bondi when everything feels a little jiggly and I need to feel healthy.

  • Alimentari in Paddington because it has a secret little back section that makes you feel like you've been transported to Sorrento.

  • Gusto in Paddington for the people watching.

Where do you love to go for a night out in the Eastern Suburbs and why?

Tell us the best kept secret in the Eastern Suburbs?

Most of the East is no longer a secret but having a child that would only sleep in a pram, walking the back streets of Paddington, Woollahra and Potts Points - there's some serious house crushing and streets that look like they belong in Santorini.
