Set upon the glimmering waters of Sydney’s idyllic Balmoral Beach, you can gorge on one of Sydney’s best views as you inhale their classic Bacon + Egg roll with aioli, tomato chutney and rocket. While the cold pressed juices make for a smug Instagram update, we feel that teaming your brekky with a glass of bubbles is more appropriate given the location.

This addition likely comes as no surprise – the champions of breakfast, Kepos Street Kitchen have long been revered for their addictive Middle Eastern inspired menu, and their bacon and egg brioche is no exception. Adding their signature KSK chilli jam, roast tomatoes and spinach to the equation you’ll find yourself licking your fingers before washing everything down with a pomegranate virgin mojito.

A Northern Beaches favourite, Smalltown is the ideal, low-key spot to soak up the Sunday sun as you gorge on their bacon & egg roll. The creation ensconces the sacred bacon and egg filling within a seeded brioche bun and is slathered with a Smokey BBQ sauce – heaven. Add a single origin double shot espresso to wash down your feast and your set for the day.

It’s a guarantee that you won’t be needing lunch.

Be sure to take a baguette or five home if you know what’s good for you.

Also serving Parkers Organic Iced Teas and juices, you can feel virtuous about your breakfast choice because #balance.

One of Chatswood’s most talked about venues, Chimichuri does Australian and Latin American fusion to a tee. Like the rest of their menu, to say they do the humble B&E roll well is an understatement. Teaming chilli fried egg, crispy bacon, pickled slaw and ranch dressing on a brioche bun, the Chimichuri House Roll will have you at hello.

5th Earl Rosebery

The slick outfit behind 5th Earl in the buzzing suburb of Rosebery brings delectable breakfast fare to an elegant setting. The 5th Earl’s Benny roll is a serious contender for pole position, with two poached eggs, crisped bacon, house made tomato relish, rocket and hollandaise on a brioche bun. Shirt Bar

It’s only fitting that a café-come-bar-come-upmarket shirt concept store would boast a B&E roll to match. The Brasserie Bread milk bin is brimming with whiskey and maple smoked biodynamic bacon, free range egg, aioli and Shirt-Bar-special BBQ sauce. The Shirt Bar’s creation is a must for those mornings when muesli and a yoghurt just won’t do.
