Popular Beauty Treatments that are Worth the Investment
Are you keen on scheduling in some me time? These are some of our most favourite beauty treatments that will save you both time and money.
Want to book yourself in for a skin treatment and not sure where to begin? Sometimes it pays to be high maintenance to be low maintenance. Make sense? Below are some of the most popular beauty treatments that are worth the investment.
A chemical peel is when a chemical solution is applied to the skin in order for the skin to peel off or to trigger regeneration. There are three different types light/medium/deep. Light peels are superficial and are great for skin brightening, hyperpigmentation/acne. Medium depth peels work to stimulate collagen production and are great for acne scars/ageing/deeper wrinkles/hyperpigmentation. Deep peels are aggressive resurfacing techniques and should be discussed with a Dermatologist.

Laser Hair Removal
Laser Hair Removal will change your life. Honestly think about how much time/money you spend on hair removal already? And now in Australia getting this treatment is so ridiculously cheap. So while it may not be 100% permanent, the reduction in the hair and slow down of growth is worth it.
The lasers work by directing a beam of light at the hair follicle. The wavelength then converts it to heat as it’s passed through the skin before it’s absorbed by the hair (hence why you must never go with a fake tan). Anyway it may seem like a lot of time and money to commit to initially but it’s very worth it. I promise you will wonder why you didn’t do it any sooner. Best for people with dark hair.

Laser Genesis is a non-invasive procedure that uses a laser to gently heat the upper layers of the skin (dermis) using micro-pulses. This stimulates collagen production which can help plump the skin and help with smoothing wrinkles/improving skin texture and can even help with the appearance of scars. Plus, it can reduce skin redness and rosacea as the heat from the laser can also constrict blood vessels.
It’s not a painful laser either, and very comfortable. Most skin types will be suitable for this treatment; however, a consultation is always required. Laser Genesis is not recommended during pregnancy.

Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that punctures the skin using sterile needles at a depth between 0.5 and 2.5mm (surface level deep). This initiates the wound healing response, meaning the skin thinks it’s in trouble and starts the regeneration process – incl. building collagen and elastin.
It’s great for ageing, fine lines, pore size and overall rejuvenation. A consultation is very important to determine if this treatment is right for you. Also while it sounds a bit scary – it very much isn’t and it isn’t as painful as you think.

LED Light Therapy
All skin types can benefit from LED Light Therapy. It’s painless, there’s no downtime and the different wavelengths of light can be customised to treat concerns from acne, improving skin tone, texture and can even help with wound healing. It’s also a great lunchtime skin treatment for those short on time!

Have you always wanted to curl your eyelashes – and keep them that way? An eyelash lift is exactly that. Like a mini perm for your eyelashes. The entire process takes around 45 mins -1 hour including a lash tint (which = darker/thicker looking lashes if that’s your thing). It’s also best to arrive at your appointment mascara free so the chemical solution can be applied on clean eyelashes. Post a lash lift you won’t even need to wear mascara and your new freshly curled lashes should last 6-8 weeks – depending on each individual. Try it! Promise you’ll be hooked. Approx cost: $100+
