Charitable giving has always been the Aussie way, and we want to continue to encourage everyone to support charities and organisations that are supporting our women around the country.

From ending period poverty and helping women get back out into the workforce to escaping dangerous living situations, these are just a small selection of women's charities giving back to women in a big way!

Sisterworks

Sisterworks

Providing training, education and support for women from refugee, migrant and asylum-seeker backgrounds, Sisterworks is a Melbourne-based, not-for-profit social enterprise.

Through work and entrepreneurship, their mission is to support women who now call Australia home and improve their confidence, mental well-being, sense of belonging and economic outlook.

The ultimate goal is an Australia where all migrant women are given the opportunities to become economically empowered.

Sitchu Tip: Pay a visit to their newly opened Crafted Culture Cafe. SisterWorks' latest social enterprise makes doing your bit as simple as stopping in for coffee and conversation.

One Girl Australia

When you educate a girl, everything changes. That's the motto One Girl Australia stands for, and we could not agree more.

One Girl knows that education is the powerful key to it all. Reducing the gender gap and getting one step closer to equality, tackling climate change, reducing poverty and improving health, wellness, confidence and status.

This women's charity is on a mission to help the 129 million girls around the world denied an education - and they want you to join them.

You can donate to this worthy cause and help change the futures of the girls and women who are not given access to education - something that should be a right, not a privilege.

Two Good Co.

Two Good Co

Since launching 10 years ago, Two Good Co has donated over 160,000 restaurant-quality meals to local women's refuges for domestic violence survivors across Sydney and Melbourne.

This incredible women's charity is working daily to provide resources and support to women escaping violence and abuse, and rebuilding their confidence to get back to their lives.

To get involved you can shop their website with a range of sustainable and luxurious products available to purchase, with every purchase having the ability to change someone's future. You can also purchase meals to go directly to women's shelters.

NBCF

National Breast Cancer Foundation

With a clear and simple mission to stop all breast cancer-related deaths by 2030, the National Breast Cancer Foundation plays a pivotal role in generating funding for essential research.

By purchasing one of their t-shirts, organising a Pink Ribbon Breakfast, participating in events around the country or going pink in June, you are providing much-needed awareness and donations to this important cause.

Support the Girls

Support the Girls Australia

Empowering girls and women to break the cycle of poverty and oppression, Support the Girls Australia ensures women have self-respect and dignity by providing them with bras, underwear and sanitary products.

To get involved with this women's charity, you can donate money, volunteer or organise a bra drive in your local area. Any way you can, you are giving another woman a chance to get back on her feet.

NATSIWA

National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women's Alliance (NATSIWA)

Established in 2009, the core objective of the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women’s Alliance (NATSIWA) is to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women to have a strong and effective voice in the domestic and international policy advocacy process.

To get involved, you can donate directly to the organisation, with all funds used to support the cause, provide financial assistance through scholarships, preserve culture and help distribute information.

Share the Dignity

Share the Dignity

Fighting to end period poverty, Share the Dignity is an organisation that benefits women who don’t have access to sanitary products across Australia. Having now donated over 4.4 million sanitary products, this women's charity is not slowing down any time soon.

From donating money to support their great work, getting involved in their March Dignity Drive or attending a Dignitea event in major capital cities, you can help provide those most vulnerable with access to period products.

The 'It's in the Bag' initiative makes it easier than ever to support women. All you need to do is find an old handbag, fill it with everyday items and drop it to a local collection point (they're usually at Bunnings) during the month of November each year.

Think sanitary items, oral care, haircare, deodorant, razors and body wash. The things we take for granted mean the world to those in need.

White Ribbon Australia

White Ribbon Australia

Domestic violence is a national issue that saw over 55 women murdered by men in 2022. With confronting statistics like this, White Ribbons' work in eliminating gendered violence is more important than ever.

Through providing community and workplace programs, and supporting research and government policy, White Ribbon Australia aims to push social change and ensure women a free of all forms of men's violence and abuse.

Dress for Success

Dress for Success

A global charity with a presence in Adelaide, Brisbane, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney, Dress for Success empowers women to achieve financial independence by providing access to professional clothing to help get them back into the workforce.

You can easily get involved by volunteering in a distribution centre, organising a clothing donation drive with your friends and colleagues, or simply donating your clothes at the end of each season.

Global Women's Project

The Global Women's Project

The Global Women's Project provides women abroad with the tools and resources they need to help create a better life for themselves, their families and communities.

Through funding local projects and giving them small loans to build businesses, they are effecting change and social outcomes for women on a global scale.

A little goes a long way at this women's charity, with a $25 donation enough to support a Burundian woman and her children for 20 days with meals and a dedicated educator to get her out working and earning an income.

One Million Women

One Million Women

The power of females truly comes into play with One Million Women, an inspiring climate-change-driven network where over one million women from every corner of the planet are encouraging climate action through everything they do.

With this decade being one of critical change, this female-led movement is one that entirely deserves and needs your support.
