6 Easter Cocktail Recipes for a Hopping Good Time

From hot cross martinis to whipped cream topped drinks, these are the fun and delectable Easter cocktail recipes to try this long weekend.

When it comes to Easter, there is no such thing as too much chocolate. From eggs and bunnies, to baked delicacies, we simpy can't get enough. But, why not try a drinkable Easter treat this year?

To help you in your long weekend celebrations, some of our favourite mixologists have shared some must-try Easter cocktail recipes where chocolate reigns supreme. You're welcome!

Easter Cocktail Recipe: White Dreams

Ingredients:

Cocktail:

  • 45ml Ketel one vodka
  • 30ml Mozart white chocolate liqueur
  • 15ml orgeat syrup
  • 30ml pure cream
  • Ice

White Chocolate Whipped Cream:

  • 60ml Pure cream
  • 60ml Mozart white chocolate liqueur
  • 60ml simple syrup
  • 6 Dashes of chocolate bitters
  • Macadamia Crumb
Method:

Cocktail:

  1. To a cocktail shaker add 45ml Ketel one vodka, 30ml Mozart white chocolate liqueur, 15ml orgeat syrup & 30ml pure cream then add ice and vigorously shake, dump into
    tumbler glass.
  2. Garnish with whipped white chocolate cream sprinkle, white chocolate and macadamia crumb and two wafer sticks

White Chocolate Whipped Cream:

  1. To make the white chocolate whipped cream add 360ml Pure cream, 60ml Mozart white chocolate liqueur, 60ml simple syrup and 6 Dashes of chocolate bitters into a whipped cream canister. We use a thermo whip.
  2. Load one cream charger and then let sit in the fridge for 20 minutes before use. This will be enough cream for at least 4 cocktails.
  3. Make the white chocolate and macadamia crumb by simply crushing the two together.

Easter Cocktail Recipe: Hot-Cross-Tini

Ingredients:
  • 20ml Brookies Macadamia & Wattleseed
  • 10ml Morris Classic Liqueur Topaque
  • 10ml Licor 43 Vanilla
  • 5ml Frangelico
  • 40ml Coffee

Glass: Nick & Nora or Martini
Garnish: Cinnamon Dust X

Method:
  1. Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker.
  2. Add ice and shake for 10 seconds.
  3. Strain ingredients into a chilled martini glass.
  4. Garnish with a cinnamon X.

Easter Cocktail Recipe: Strawberries & Cream

Ingredients:
  • 3-4 fresh strawberries
  • 45ml Strawberries and cream Baileys
  • 30ml Mozart dark chocolate liqueur
  • 45ml pure cream
  • 10ml simple sugar syrup
  • Ice
  • 1 - 2 Meringue
  • A handful of Freeze-dried Strawberries
Method:
  1. Place 3-4 fresh strawberries to a cocktail shaker and muddle well.
  2. Add 45ml Strawberries and cream Baileys, 30ml Mozart dark chocolate liqueur, 45ml pure cream and 10ml simple sugar syrup.
  3. Add ice and shake vigorously, double strain into a glass full of ice
  4. Garnish with smashed meringue and strawberry dusting from freeze-dried strawberries.

Easter Cocktail Recipe: Easter Egg Negroni

Ingredients:
  • 15ml Four Pillars
  • 10ml Continental Creme De Cacao Dark
  • 15ml Martini Bitter
  • 15ml Maidenii Sweet Vermouth

Glass: Double Rocks
Garnish: Easter Egg on Skewer

Method:
  1. Add all ingredients into a mixing glass.
  2. Add ice and stir for 18 seconds.
  3. Strain ingredients over block ice.
  4. Garnish with a chocolate easter egg.

Easter Cocktail Recipe: Hot Cross Espresso Martini

Ingredients:
  • 45ml cinnamon and Vanilla infused vodka
  • 30ml Mozart dark chocolate liqueur
  • 30ml fresh espresso
  • 15ml simple syrup
  • 4 cinnamon scrolls
  • 1 vanilla bean
  • Nutmeg
Method:
  1. Add 45ml cinnamon and Vanilla infused vodka, 30ml Mozart dark chocolate liqueur & 30ml fresh espresso, 15ml simple syrup in cocktail shaker with ice and shake.
  2. Double strain into coupe glass.
  3. Add a cross stencil on top of the glass and garnish with ground cinnamon and nutmeg. You can use anything to make this such as a cut out a piece of cardboard.
  4. To infuse the vodka just add 4 cinnamon scrolls.

  • 20ml Bati Coconut Rum
  • 20ml Ginologist Summer Cup
  • 10ml Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
  • 5ml Crawleys Cocktail Simple Syrup 

Glass: Stemmed Goblet
Garnish: Coconut/Choc Chip

Method:
  1. Add all ingredients into a mixing glass
  2. Add ice and stir for 18 seconds
  3. Strain ingredients over block ice
  4. Garnish with Coconut/Choc Chips
